Would Iraq want Pakistan to join anti IS operations?

Pakistan has highly skilled mission planners with soild counter terrorism experiance. Two of our retired three stars, Lt. Gen (R) Haroon Asalm and Lt Gen (R) Tariq Khan are now out of service. I'm sure they can help the Iraqis turn the tables on these monsters. Pakistan may be tied at home in regards to hard resources but we can and should provide experts to Iraq.

Let's take care of our own problems first.
As far as our retired generals our concerned, IMHO we should employ them as well for current Operation Zarb e Azab because we need all the brain and brute we can get.
This is a battle to protect 180mn people and any experienced hand is welcome.
Though I'm not sure of the legal side to this but it'd be good if they can be brought back for this specific purpose.
After all this is done and their insurgency still hasn't ended I'm sure our agencies will already be up to something or have something in mind for that :D
Just make real sure that IS never becomes a threat to Pakistan.

We should clean our house and go into a economy rebuild mode after that. Once all that is done (probably in a decade plus) can we even think and discuss such things... Otherwise such discussions seem like a bad joke on which all others laugh at us...

It's not our problem - we MUST stay the hell away from that region.
I expect KSA to start helping their brothers, but you know..

The threat of IS is an ideological one and it can only be hammered if they are defeated on the battlefield. This ideology also harms Pakistan as according to Pakistani Intelligence sources, we are a 'prime target' for this terrorist movement.

Pakistan has helped Iraq and Syria in the past by dispatching fighter pilots. The defense of Damascus was planned by none other than the Sq Ldr MM ALAM, the greatest Pakistani fighter ace during the Arab Israeli war.

Today we continue to help Iraq by servicing its arms requirements, broad training program including Spec Ops and diplomacy. I was wondering what would be Iraqi opinion if Pakistan dispatched some contribution i.e Counter insurgency experts from our rather experianced intel services, ISR or even some strike assets to Iraq for fighting IS?

Best Regards
Pakistan could help if there are TTP and IS cross-links and specific info with our intel.
It was rumoured that at abt a thousand TTP fighters had joined IS in Iraq, they might return to this region and pose a threat.

Pakistanis overestimate their strength. South Asia is not the dominant player in any area. Just contribute to UN and solve own issues.

The IS has already reached here with TTP goons pledging loyalty. We should help Iraq for our own sake and theirs. If IS is defeated in Iraq, the TTP will become a thing of the past.

Valid points, however IS threat to Pakistan is growing real as TTP dogs pledge loyalty to them. If we can target the IS in its strong holds, it will send a strong message to those IS supporters who beheaded one of our POWs.

We don't have to dispatch an Army but helping IQAF in ISR, Air Intel and other specialised areas like mission planning etc can be a viable option.

Don't you think Pakistan lacks the Economic might to take on IS & why not supply Iran,Shias & Kurds in the region to tie down IS in that area only

Its not important to dispatch power projection tools. We can help Iraq in weapons supplies and through our highly skilled human resource to use THEIR power projection tools more effectively.

If Pakistanis have really good expertise as being claimed by the OP, why haven't they been able to control terrorism in their own country. Hence OP is wrong.
