It doesn't matter.... I'm sure nothing much changed in Indian cities in 3 years...

Well true its still work in progress( Airports, BRT, Metro rail, monorail, flyovers, sea links), a lot has come online since 2009 though. Again earlier only 50 cities were part of the study, but now 140 cities are and Indian cities are no longer at the rock bottom. Other south asian cities are still languishing in the bottom ten though.

Australia’s Melbourne topped the chart, scoring 97.5 while Vienna, Austria; three other Canadian cities; three more Australian cities; Helsinki, Finland; and Auckland, New Zealand made the rest nine of the top ten.

The bottom ten cities include Lagos, Nigeria; Harare, Zimbabwe; Algiers, Algeria; Karachi, Pakistan; Tripoli, Libya; and Tehran, Iran.

Cities are also scored on the diversity and standard of cultural events and the natural environment; education (school and university); and the standard of infrastructure, including public transport.
