Let's see if anything productive with real life commercial applications come out of this. We've had umpteen number of initiatives especially under the military's auspices and purview but nothing of long term benefit has been realized. SUPARCO has nothing to show for nor does HIT or Wah or PAC.

6 tunnels in 50 years! Just one mountain near my residence has 6 tunnels.

Obtaining tunneling tech is really important for the future. We may need water tunnels in the near future given the environmental conditions in the future. With the help of a series of tunnels, we can actually divert most of the water from the north through Pakistan. Water tunnels can also be used to divert excess water to dry areas, e.g to balochistan.

Infrastructure is built on requirements. FWO has built roads, bridges etc, especially the road in GB region apart from other places.
