Woman raped on Lahore Ring Road, infront of her two children.

Nonsense...west doesnt have sharia...japan,south korea dont have sharia...they are all democratic countries...they are million times better than pakistan.
Somalia has a great degree of sharia and so did afghanistan under taliban.
What progress have they made?Democracy is never bad..it is the best of all systems...it may have its share of problems in countries like pakistan..but give it time..it will evolve.
As long as people are corrupt, selfish, ignorant and illiterate no system or govt can help you....you have to identify your problems first and then fix them.
After 1924 however, with the advent of modern nation-states, there has been a constant struggle to establish a legitimate Muslim political order in Muslim-populated regions. Korea or Japan they are not populated Muslim countries, and unlike Muslims they never in world rulers politics and muslim dominated countires are at the center of this struggle are a set of issues: Islam’s relationship to the state, state’s relationship to Islam, and role of religion in public life.
Democracy, in its contemporary perception, can be divided into liberal and religious democracy. The former, because of some issues related to it(we tried in pakistan since 72 years and it is not working), which directly or indirectly negate the creator's absolute authority on his creation in terms of leadership, governance, political freedom, etc. is not encouraged by Islamic law. Islamic Law, according to the provisions of some verses from the holy Qur’an encourages democracy but not liberal democracy like that of the
western world. The religious democracy that can go with our modern time and solve many contemporary problems of the Muslim world is the model which was introduced by late Ayatollah Imam Khomeini after the 1979 Islamic revolution in Iran. The Iranian religious democracy, in general, is based on an instrumental and methodological view towards democracy. The main claim in religious democracy is to establish a government based on majority religious values because It believes that democracy is stable only when reaches out of political borders to become an inner part of individual and social life; you are living in a Muslims majority country, right or in Japan or Korea or Singapore ?This would happen in Islamic societies only when democracy is rooted in Islamic traditions and customs. In other words observing the cultural situation and realities in Islamic societies, the best and most stable democracy is religious democracy.
and only solution to these rapist are

If he was convicted in 2013, why was he not in jail? It's a joke, they will give him a short term jail sentence and then he will rape again.
He shouldn't be in jail, he should be hanged. Someone who has repeatedly raped and robbed people does not have any right to live when he has ruined many lives.

The sad thing is that the police investigators are stupid imbeciles. They have shown who the prime suspect is on tv without first finding and arresting him. The criminal has probably seen it and has probably gone into hiding or left the area. What a bunch of incompetent fools. Since when is it a thing to warn the criminal that they are looking for him?

The problem is that now that this issue is hot, everyone will be running to get publicity by doing whatever they can. News agencies are active to report any similar incidents, police and politicians are in point scoring rave by making comments and getting the news out even if it hurts the case.
These matters should not be a "seasonal priority". Police is the biggest culprit and politicians back them for their own ulterior motives.

Another problem is that when the responsible people are held accountable, they simply point to another issue that someone else should be helf accountable first. And then a new debate starts while the actual issue is overlooked.

Unless we fix the institutions first, we will keep seeing repeat performances of the same heinous crimes and same bullshit that follows.

Good share.

However, what about those women who are being raped inside their homes?

When our ministers utter rubbish, what should we expect?

Does he mean that Prophet (SAW) and Khulafa e Rashideen (RA) era's society was mutasaddid?
That's fasad fil ardh and the responsibility is with those running the affairs of an Islamic State in implementing the Hudud ALLAH.

Justice will be served one day,

Abbas reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “No man is appointed as leader for more than ten days but that he will be brought on the Day of Resurrection with his hands shackled to his neck, until judgment is issued between him and them.
