Just ask Aussie Air Force, who won "within visual range dog fight" between our Sukhoi and their F-18 Super Hornet. Why then Aussie needs another 58 F-35 after that "exercise" ????? . We had use F-16 as aerobatic team since early 1990's so it explains a lot.......and now we use Sukhoi 27/ 30 as aerobatic team as well.

When it comes to the face to face conflict Su is just unbeatable .Only western fighter that can stand against is F 22 and perhaps F 35.Others fighters will end their game after BVR launching.

Oya, we support you with fact that has been discussed all over the world, it shows that we have guts to fight every body. I know the situation from the real pilot who did that, one article made by the pilot has been released, true dog fight were going on, not just like something less than that.

Our war history also has so many proof. Maybe your real country will just send diplomatic letter to protest instead of scrambling like we did to superpower Navy.

And same reason forced us to replace avionics in our MKI with advanced Indian and Israel systems.Avionics is one of our strong field.

You should stop these embarassing claims.F 22 was commissioned in 2005 .F 35 is still in development .Soviet Union was dissolved in 1991.

I think so too, PLA AF has several times make a complaint about they losing the calm during engagement with Taiwan (ROC AF) and JADSF because some of their old variants Flanker keep jammed when been intercepted by those two Air Forces. That's why some of my Air Force brass think the best way to utilize Su-30MKK variants is as Deep Strike Fighter Bomber instead of Multirole Air Superiority fighter and let the Falcon family to do the Multirole job.
