Will not be undermined, Imran Khan tells Wajihuddin

justice shahab yahan justice ki zarorat nhi ap so jao ye pakistan hai

. .
I read long ago about this tribunal, it was formed to probe into party's election related petitions and submit its recommendations for next party elections, that's all.

But Justice Wajih didn't stop there, and I don't know why he started meddling with party affairs like issuing showcause notices to party members, started giving ridiculous statements here and there etc. Then IK had to step in and dismiss the tribunal since its task was done. Several CEC meetings were held (in which Justice Wajih was present himself) to discuss findings of this tribunals, and implementation of its recommendations.

But sadly, Justice Wajih didn't stop there either. Even though the tribunal was dismissed, Wajih started dismissing senior party members, he had no authority of doing so at all. This hurt party reputation badly.

If the recommendations were taken seriously and actions taken, he didn't have to do what he did. No action taken on Tasneem Noorani commission report, no a action taken on Wajih's report. If IK had this in mind, why the commission drama?

Realistically speaking if God forbid IK dies tomorrow, what do you think will happen to the PTI.
Reham will take over. Congratulations! Yet another dynasty is born in Pakistan politics.

. . .
Not from me, but from PTI. IK has already endorsed Reham's entry in PTI. I pray my assertions proves wrong and PTI could mature into a solid political party and not just a satellite of IK.

That will only be possible when either PMLN and PPP are destroyed in the polls or PPP and PMLN decides to gets rid of all the Sharifs, Bhutto and Zardaris.

What ever happens first.

.
I am for PTI, but this intra-party probe affair is getting hilarious by the passing day. IK cannot even control things in his own party and he somehow expect his voters to believe he is the right candidate to run the country. Ok, I don't want people around IK to take all his orders with 'Aqeedat', but they should at least show some respect to his authority as party chairman. It seems to me, the real power of PTI's lies in someone else's hands. As IK has repeatedly written to Wajihuddin that his tribunal is now defunct, yet he keeps operating on his own issuing new orders. Why would he do that unless he is getting paid or urged to do it by his handlers to undermine IK's authority as party chairman?

Good poitns.

Add 35, 37, 70, 72 pentures in this too.

IK cannot make up his mind on something so simple.

He aleready submitted papers in court that he has no forking idea about pentures and he is just lying through his teeth.

The commission was formed to find the reasons of rigging in party elections, and make recommendations so these mistakes won't be repeated in next elections, that's it.

Now afaik, there were several meetings of CEC and Justice Wajih along with other members of this commission were present in all these meetings. The recommendations were discussed in detail and every one agreed to implement them.

Whether those recommendation were implemented or not will be in front of everyone in coming party elections, which are not so far away.

------------------

What I was talking about, Justice wajih and this commission had gone extra mile out of their domain and caused severe damage to party's repute. In fact, they tried to do a mini coup in the party. WTF was that for?

Reham will take over. Congratulations! Yet another dynasty is born in Pakistan politics.

This is a real threat and I'm with you on this. I too feel like this. Nothing against Reham Khan, every one has the right to come into politics. She's educated, clean and good prospect for politics especially in women's domain.

But as far as she won't take over the party after IK, I'm all fine with her being in politics. IK needs to make sure his party won't turn into another dynastic party after him..

The best way is, after next party elections elect a vice chairman of the party through free and fair party elections. He will be vice chairman and future chairman of the party if anything happens to IK. I'd love to see Asad Umer on this position.

Will not be undermined, Imran Khan tells Wajihuddin
DAWN.COM — PUBLISHED about 2 hours ago
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan in a July 4 letter addressing retd Justice Wajihuddin Ahmed blamed the retired judge for "damaging the PTI".

"All your pronouncements are unwarranted and devoid of underlying authority besides damaging the PTI," he said, accusing Wajihuddin of 'overstepping his mandate'.

The PTI chief said Wajihuddin's "pronouncements since dissolution of the election tribunal ... encouraged opportunists within the party and those who were expelled for valid reasons to exploit the situation and settle personalised vendettas against party leaders", which he said may "lead to undermining the party's public standing and provide pretext to our political opponents causing growing concern among a vast swathe of party workers."

He also spoke of a "man with question marks over his conduct including on financial matters" who he had warned the tribunal about, saying he had targeted "senior and respectable party members in what has evidently become a personalised vendetta."

Imran Khan said Wajihuddin no longer had the authority to issue edicts on behalf of the "defunct election tribunal", which was "established for a specific purpose and with time-bound existence". He said the tribunals job was to probe petitions relating to intra-party elections.

The PTI chairman said the tribunal had been dissolved as its recommendations had been implemented.

"The tribunal had no authority to order shortening the terms of office bearers of the party as these were contained in the PTI constitution. Nor did the tribunal have the authority to assert that a caretaker set up be appointed immediately, members of which would not be able to participate in the next intra-party elections," he said.

The PTI chairman concluded by saying that, although he respected the elder, he could not allow him or anyone else to "damage" the party by trangressing the limits of their mandate.

He 'formally requested' Wajihuddin to "refrain from making any more pronouncements on behalf of the defunct election tribunal."

likes of Tareen and SMQ are the ones undermining IK

Not a retired judge.

Sadly.

Being a true democratic party ... This is not necessary that IK becomes a chairman .......
As for Reham Khan ... Its good if she serves un politcs and want to do something good for PTI ... But she should start work as ordinary worker and participate in next intr-party election ... It will be good if she wins some position for women wing but including her into top leadership in party will make it a traditional party and nothing else .........

.
Bhola Khan forgot in his Josh e Khitabat that PTI is not the first in Pakistan for holding intra party elections. JI is doing that for a long time
