Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Sunday stated that he will change the law to revoke his disqualification verdict once he is elected back to power in the upcoming elections.

While addressing a rally in Mansehra, the ousted premier said the only way to change his disqualification verdict was by changing the law in Parliament.

“We will have to change the decision in the assembly,” he added. “I want the vote of the masses to change the decision.”

Verdict acquitting Imran must have come from ‘above’: Maryam Nawaz

Nawaz stressed that he was in no competition with either Imran Khan or Asif Ali Zardari and that he defeated both of them during the 2013 elections and will do so again in 2018.

“You are Pakistanis just like those five judges and no one can disrespect your decision,” Nawaz boasted, adding that, “You will not bow down and neither will I.”

The deposed premier further claimed that everyone wanted to put him behind bars because the people of Pakistan love him.

He further said that though he was disqualified for holding an iqama, Imran was not even held accountable for owning offshore companies.

Nawaz shed light on how his government ended power loadshedding in Mansehra and even eradicated terrorism in the country.

He promised the people of Mansehra a railway line along with six motorways completed till Abottabad.

Sharif went on to state that a ‘naya’ Pakistan can be seen in Punjab due to Shehbaz Sharif’s efforts and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa will witness the same change during a PML-N government in the province.

Before concluding his address, Sharif assured the people at his rally that he will try to visit the area again during the elections and even if he did not, the people should not forget him.

Now he has a life time to spend behind bars...so theoretically he can dream anything he wants while sitting on the indian seat in the jail and pumping daal out..

"Change the law" there you have it folks.

I would like to see that bill. I seriously doubt it.

the articles are Islamic law and they are perhaps the most basic and common knowledge Islamic law that a leader must he Sadiq and ameen.

The Parliament cannot make a law that is repugnant to Islamic values or Islamic laws. It simply can't and if it does then that law can be challenged in the supreme court or the federal shariah court. Bhutto was ten times stronger than this guy and even his land reforms were set aside in that famous qazalbaksh case.

There is a reason the parliament didn't pass any law to bring him back when the verdict came and instead passed a party leadership bill which again was struck down as it was repugnant to Islamic value of a leader must be Sadiq and ameen and we saw nawaza get kicked off his party presidentship.

And I am simply talking judicial and legal processes here. I won't even touch what hell breaks loose when you pass an unislamic bill and mark my words trying to remove Sadiq and ameen will be considered unislamic.

Changing Islamic laws in pakistan is not easy. Infact if the constitution of 1973 is to be looked at, its almost impossible as there are hurdles and challenges. The only way to do that is to actually point out and explain that the law being brought forward is more Islamic and the previous law is unislamic yet how do you explain to the courts and the moulvis and to the people that a leader doesn't have to he Sadiq and ameen to rule an Islamic country and this is perfectly fine in Islam.

As I said. I would like to see that bill.

And yo change constitution they need 2/3rd majority in both houses which is very difficult for Punjab centric party to get

Godfather is just a very sore loser, for that he needs 2/3 of majority which wont happen, so either depending on the verdict given by the accountability court on how many years he spends behind bars is yet to be seen, but then why is Godfather allowed to do jalsa's when he is already disqualified and cannot contest next elections.

:pop: Nawaz sharif will change law to include bow to Nawaz sharif line

So far track record of cases

Nawaz Shairf , releaed with pat on hand , removed from office , he goes on Anti Country Rampage

Nawaz's Daughter and Husband , Openly mocking Holding property overseas and used forged documents in court still out of Prison making trips to UK and USA

Ishaq Dar fugitive from NAB and court cases, leaves for UK comes back wins Senate election and all the court cases are nullified so it seems

  • Nawaz's 2 sons have Private Enterprise , and no record of money how they got it
  • Khuwaja Asif , disqualified for having third country ties
  • Ahshan Guy , on way to disqualification for having third country ties
  • Shabaz Sharif , marred in controversy from Model Town killings , still out at large

Who exactly has gone to Prison like a poor person so far?

CAN SOMEONE NAME ME 1 CITIZEN OF PAKISTAN (Holding IQAMA OF UK, USA, UAE, SAUDIA) WHO IS SUPER RICH OR POLITICIAN WHO WENT TO JAIL IN LAST 5 YEARS

Its not possible . Even if they remove article 62/63 from the constitution then this will not undo the disqualification of those who already been disqualified by supreme court under this article and this will be only relevant to future
