New Delhi/Gorakhpur, March:With constant debates and controversies over the ‘Anti-nationalism’ Vs ‘Nationalism’ in the country in last couple of months, the situation has become tense now. Adding more to the ongoing issues is the constant comments of chosen parliamentarians who upset again and again. This time its Yogi Adityanath who had threatened that they won’t allow Jawaharlal Nehru University to produce any Jinnah, and if they found someone behaving like that, then they will bury him in ground.
As these comments are quite provocative and ‘Pseudo-national’, experts believe Yogi should not have made such comments at this time as it will make the situation more tense. Speaking to the media, Yogi said in Gorakhpur on Saturday, “JNU me Jinna paida nahi hone denge, Agar hue to unhe dafnayenge. Hum deshdrohiyon ke like sakht hai (Won’t allow JNU to produce any Jinnah (Muhammad Ali Jinnah), if found then we will bury them. We are very strict against traitors). This is not the first time Yogi has given some controversial statement, previously too he had spoken on issues proactively, which became sensational.(ALSO READ: Kanhaiya Kumar Speech: BJYM leader provokes people to cut Kumar’s tongue; announces Rs. 5 Lakh reward for job)
Standing close to the Yogi’s comments, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha leader from Badaun in Uttar Pardesh Kuldeep Varshney threatened JNUSU Kanhaiya Kumar by saying that anybody who chops off his tongue will be awarded Rs 5 lakhs. The comments went controversial soon as Congress criticised the comments and demanded stringent action against Sudheer. BJP acted soon and suspended the leader from party for six years. Kuldeep was reacting on the fierce speech of Kanhaiya who targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Rashtriya Swayansevak Sangh for saying “Disrespectful words”.

Speaking to media in his parliamentary constituency, the BJP MP said, “JNUme Jinna paida nahi hone denge, Agar hue to unhe dafnayenge. Hum deshdrohiyon ke like sakht hai.”
Adityanath's comments come close on the heels of BJP Yuva Morcha leader Pardesh Kuldeep Varshney's announcement of a reward of Rs 5 lakh for cutting off JNU Students union leader Kanhaiya Kumar's tongue.
The BJP MP is not new to making controversial statements. Earlier too his comments have made huge furore and embarrassed the party.
Varshnay had yesterday announced Rs 5 lakh prize money for cutting off the tongue of Kanhaiya Kumar who he had alleged was speaking against the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi ever since he was released on bail.
Kumar who was arrested on February 12 on sedition charges was released from the Tihar jail on March 3 after the Delhi High Court granted him interim bail for six months.
