Not anymore... What Estab has done to destroy Pakistan, there is no way Expats will invest in pakistan unless.

1) Military accountability is allowed. Starting with Treason case on Bajwa and his co conspirators.
2) Biometric balloting takes place and elections are allowed
3) NAB is reinstated.
4) Nawaz and cronies are put behind bar, along wit accountability of judges.
5) Corrupt at put behind bar.

. . . . .
Expats were investing in Khan based on his reputation not for perfection but honesty.

Soon as these PDM bums returned only idiots would invest.

Sole exception being the real estate market which continues to move along in Pakistan.

.
its all going to be in $. The transaction is going to be in $. pakistan did not sell these bonds in the international market in Rs..
Noted.

Pakistan government paying investors $117.x at the end of 2 years.

Considering Pakistan’s current economic situation would it be a wise idea to issue bond at this time? And with the current setup?

The bond has already been issued. It is due in 2024. You can buy it form the current bond holders.

Basically, the 50 cents on a dollar value of bonds maturing in a year and a few months represents bond markets collective certainty that Pakistan will not be able to make this payment. That is a very big conclusion. Usually, governments that miss bond payments won't be able to rise any funds from market for a long time. You are looking at a decade or more of stasis. The decade of 2014 - 2024 is a decade of disappointment. 2024 - 2034 will be a lot of pain and suffering.

.
PDM in power, you're better off sticking the money under your pillow.

.
They did bet on Pakistan, but Mir Bajwa made off with their money and bought properties abroad.

   let's add more:

- When IK will be sentenced to 15 years for his corruption (190 million pounds just one case) billions of rupees from foreign nationals and companies, etc. Using shell accounts and companies for corruption and money laundering and the infamous "defrauding the state Treasury" of Pakistan (and insulting the entire country globally by selling gifted WATCHES). This should be a MUST have punishment / sentence so the HONEST and CARING EXPATS CAN TRUST Pakistan again. I agree 100%

- Start criminal trial of politicization of merit in Punjab especially. There is a thread on here right now about Doctor's (position holders) not getting jobs but the one's without merit but political support from PMLQ and PTI are getting these jobs. CM Punjab opened these jobs to recruit his people only. Same is happening in Education and all other departments. So these blood sucking corrupt politicisms need to be in jail.

Pakistan has NO risk of defaulting, period. We are fine and our economy is about to start climbing up from January 2023!

 You must have had a REALLY bad dream. Go change your wet pants, shower and go back to sleep. These may be statistics for PTI, they aren't Pakistan's statistics. With your two flags, I'm surprised, aren't Dems or Republicans not finding room for you that you have to indulge in Pakistan's economy and that with fake, useless mental masturbation?
