Why Pakistan hasn't tested missile for months now ?

If you think "harder", it may strike you that BOTH countries' organizations HAVE to test new and old weapon systems periodically. If you look at the launch dates (of same Pakistani systems), they occur with the interval of one year most of the times.
Heck, we could say that too, that India 'retaliates' every time Pakistan conducts missile tests.

It is just the coincidence of launch dates, nothing more. There won't be a "retaliative" launch unless both countries are at the brink of a war and the launch is conducted during a military exercise.

india is working on stealthy, terrain hugging nuclear cruise missiles? Oh wow---Pakistan achieved that capability a DECADE ago.

India also have operational SLBM (short range) but still long range SLBM needed atleast 4 years to become operational.

Majority of countries produce weapons for their doctrine and needs..not on the basis of 'what sounds cool'

Or if India had an area of say 10 million sq miles, Pakistan would've been building ballistic missiles with 8,000 km range etc..

If it could,it would have at least tried building a satellite launch vehicle but it lacks the tech as simple as that.

Exactly, although it's in Pakistan's capacity but it doesn't need missiles that do a fly by over India, rather it has weapons that strike at the heart of would be aggressor.

Pakistan has build solid fueled ballistic missiles with 2500km range. If it lacked the technology, you would not have seen that.

Satellite Launch Vehicle? Why would Pakistan built it when China can launch Pakistani satellites for much cheaper? You do realize that satellite launch vehicles has a 'commercial' aspect to it, while ballistic missiles don't?

Because Pakistan's missile program has reached the heights of maturity and sophistication.

"Testing" means "validation of theoretical measures" ....

Nations who test their missiles a lot usually have shitty missile programs (like india) and have a long way to go in achieving total confidence in deploying their missile program.

As your missile program matures, you tend to test less.

When was the last time U.S tested any ballistic missile? Exactly.

Current inventory of Pakistan missile forces is up to the mark, ready to be fired, well-tested, matured, and deployed with confidence.

Unless Pakistan comes up with a new project...such such a longer range weapon---there is little need to test anything.

But I don't believe Pakistan will develop a longer range missile. They don't need to. Pakistani missiles already cover entire Indian Subcontinent and even beyond.
