There should be complete freedom for everyone. You don't like to eat cow(you're hindu), fine don't eat it. You don't like alcohol (you're muslim), fine don't consume it. But don't force everyone else to follow your religion.

yes it has no root in scripture and hindusm. thats what i want to point out these sacrifices are born out of local cultures it has nothing to do with core of Hindusm. some foolish people started it for their convenience or for their need or for their foolish beliefs. You only got half of first sentence right. Karma is cause and effect. It is not just agle janam. Karma can be served at any place, anytime, in any shape and form. Its already out, most pooja and temples use Pumpkins for any such rituals.

Its only a few temples in Bengal which bleong to the Vamachara pantha who still do it.

I posted for you a research paper as to how much cow is associated with the economy and environment of a country. Obviously, you do not seem to have read it. No, they do not. In Europe there is no azan on loudspeaker as it happens in India. Neither in USA. You cannot build minarets in Switzerland. About France you must have heard right. What about countries which have banned halal meat. So, nope there are no countries where minorities have abused the majorities as much as they have in India. Mind you, all these developed countries do not have a history of being persecuted by Muslims either. Already Muslims are under surveillance in all these countries.

Also, I will happily agree India is not a secular country. After all, there are 1/2 a million Hindu temples under the govt control. Now, tell me when govt is running temples and controlling and interfering in Hindu personal law how can India be a secular country.

They have noise pollution regulations. You can't play loud music either if it disturbs the neighbours. The rule applies to all loud noises, not specifically targeting or protecting a certain religion

Yes, it isn't. Not secular enough to be called secular. The only reason it looks secular is due to the large non-hindu populations it has....else it would be complete hindu state.

LOL. Right. There are no church steeples in Switzerland. So obviously minarets are also banned. America has its own reasons for not allowing azan, likewise India has its own reasons for not allowing cow slaughter. There is a ban on halal meat specifically because Muslims eat it. Also cow ban is for all Indian citizens in those states where it is banned. They are not saying Hindus can eat and others cannot eat. See? They are not targeting Muslims specifically too.
