Look at their 5th Gen Stealth Aircraft Manufacturing Quality (Chengdu J-20 AVIC)
Meanwhile japan still cannot building their own 5th Gen Stealth Fighter until today

For another example, Chinese already Far Ahead in Quantum Technology and have Better Equipment with their Quantum Communication Satellite.

lolwut. Japanese Navy learned everything it knew from USN. It is literally impossible for them to have better equipment or tactics than the USN. Japan has no equivalent to 055 cruiser the way that US has Ticonderoga. USN isn't just about their water assets either, they have spacebased assets to support them - just the way PLAN does - the way Japanese Navy doesn't.

I mean, Japanese Navy counts undelivered F-35s which are still just parts lying around in hangars in Texas as part of their "carrier fleet". If you could count undelivered planes as part of the fleet then anyone can have a large fleet.

"seen them in action" is funny as hell. Like, has the Japanese fleet ever seen action since WW2? If not, WW2 naval tactics have as much relevance to today as Mongol horse riders. Technology changed drastically since WW2.

I think he means peacetime operations. There's nothing else.
Going back in history (Second World War) they actually made many errors during the campaign of Midway. There was the success of U.S. intelligence over Japanese intelligence; bad planning, the wide dispersion of forces (Imperial Navy), lack of radar on Japanese ships etc.
