A delusion India is living in they thought there was no need to talk but modi has realized they need to,issues like firing at LOC,trade etc,etc need to be dealt with.Thank god India has woken up ,
The point made by Aakar Patel (& he is no supporter of Modi) is a good one. Other than the necessity of talks to handle low level incidents & keep relationships at a basic courtesy level, there is very little else that these talks can achieve. What does Pakistan bring to the table except its demands? What can be the expectation from any such talks? Why do Pakistanis think that India might offer them something? On what? And why? Other than trade & maybe Sir Creek, what can realistically find a common ground? Siachen? Why would India oblige? What is Pakistan's offer that might interest India? If Pakistan wants a give & take approach, what is it that Pakistan is willing to give that might interest India? What do they expect in return?
