It's not US's but the elite of US's. Their elite doesn't really care about US, they care about money. Wouldn't be surprising if their elite wanted slow death of US too. They have 0 problems moving to any other country when they want as long as they have the money. And its not like only US has its investment in China, its the other way around too. First rule of investment is never put all of it in one basket, which US(their elite) didn't follow and went all in on China. Now they can move to Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia, whatever, the damage is done. As I said its too late now. Meanwhile China is investing every and their elite is under control of CCP. So it's a one unit, meanwhile in US even their elites are not on the same page.

Sorry to bother you. I am a layman. A Chinese moderator gave me an impression that US investments in China is negligible. Most investments in China is by countries like Singapore, Korea, Japan etc. Can you please throw light?

It is not the first time and wouldn't be last either, the clear visible trending over their so called "victory" were those skirmish(not even clash) where it happened so often thus they started to picked a few of them and started Wiki editing, from unknown casualties to a few hundred in less than 10 years, a generation later, the "war" is won over internet, in Bollywood movie, even with the real humiliation of 1962, they still pulled out something like this.

PS: China didn't talked about the 1962 war much nor filmed a single movie,TV drama,we must be hiding something, because according to Indian's logic, they would have celebrated daily and chunck out Bollywood movies like no tomrrow.

Well he is kind of right, I haven't checked Hongkong books so I don't exactly know how much of western money is gone to China via Hongkong. Hongkong has been a portal for china.

Total external debt of China is 2 T$, don't know how much of it is of US's. Anyways you can google the financial details by yourself, not that big of deal. But still their external debt is pretty manageable considering their GDP.
