Usa has the most guns but its not a war zone and a shit hole like afghanistan. The real reason is their mentality. They have always wanted a pakhtunistan when they couldnt even control what they had. They poured all of their money and time trying to destroy pakistan while instead they should have been developing their country. They think a pakhtunistan/pashtoonistan is the answer to all their problems.

More holes there than a sieve. They didn't have much resources to begin with and the guns and ammunition that came to Afghanistan were paid for US and Saudis, facilitated by Pakistan.

It is utterly naive to compare US with Afghanistan for they have means of gun control and a structured law & order system.

Small arms proliferation, smuggling and lack of accountability is the problem for Afghanistan. Of all the small arms, that were pushed into Afghanistan, an estimated 30% of them were smuggled to various militia groups. Some put the figure of those going unaccounted for, as high as 70%. A lot many of these ended up in Pakistan as well, which gave rise to the 'Kalashnikov culture' there.

If by "sodomy" you mean homosexual intercourse, then it is allowed in most western countries. Homosexual marriages are also state sanctioned in most places. If that is the criterion for and "big proof" of primitivity and backwardness, then Europe and Canada and USA and Australia should be more backward than Afghanistan.

In fact, going by evidence, the countries that have accepted homosexuality are the most wealthy and advanced ones.

those countries cant even come close to the scale of sodomy in Afghanistan. upto 80% afghan men are sodomites. in the countries you mentioned there are only around 5 or ten percent.
