Hollywood has produced many flicks about love and family values, although of recent times there is a drought somewhat.
Take a look at Rainman, one flew over the cuckoo’s nest and Beaches for some great films in the modern era (80’s onwards).

Not always. Very very nice films are also available..
Generalization is almost always dangerous.

USA has a huge military-industrial complex and the military budget for just 2020-21 is 934 billion dollars ! Shows that the violence culture is promoted from the very top.

And then at citizen level violence is promoted through other manifestations like films like Rocky.

And then there are the establishment violent propaganda films like Rambo.

But there are good films too like Gravity ( which I haven't watched ), Gattaca, Moon ( again not watched ), Interstellar etc.

"One flew..." was a fine film. As was the book the film is based on.

Almost most American movie is related element of violent and war. If not murdering another human being then it is about murdering alien, relative to majority for instance Korean Drama most talk about family and love. Hahaha.......

Action is popular these days, just like in songs you see a lot of half naked girls and twerking, because that is what people like and interested in so people produce such content, family values are going away in American society but action is prevailing.
