Did the attack damage the infrastructure, or did it cause any damage that would make the systems here unusable? No, satellite photos show that the entire system has been reinstalled and infrastructure was not damaged at all.

Are Turkish preparations at Watiya base stopped? No. On the contrary, works getting much faster...

Did the attacking country act diligently so that this did not lead to a declaration of war? Yes, currently no flir or guidiance,TV,etc images have been leaked.

Who ever attacked the El Ataiya air base, they targeted specifically the air defences, the airport buildings or runways wasn't their aim. It is more likely a message the attacker wanted to covey than anything else. Now we are witnessing a battle on the airwaves from the arab news media trying to convence their listeners that it was the Egyptiens for some, the Emiratis for others and even Haftar air force or the Russians. I am sure the Turks have an idea who it was, why are they silent? only them know.

Who ever was behind the attack..The airport facilities and the runway was not the main target...I think they just wanted to make a point without damaging the infrastructures...If it was Egypt ( who has no capabilities for such a mission) they will have bombed the runway. It is easy to do with the equipment they have., but targetting just the air defence is beyond the capabilities of their crafts.EAU have all the tech, the bombs ,the missiles , the airplanes lack the expertise . France wouldn't attack these installations for obvious reasons same for the US.
