Why do Indian media seledom disclose land acquisition issues while Chinese media do?

.
What is wrong with Amnesty International? Why are they spreading mindless stories about land acquisition in India? - Quora

Chinese media and international media are used to disclosing land expropriation problems in China.
In fact, many peasants become millionaires after land expropriation.

But In india, farmers are under-compensated, but Indian media seldom disclose that.

Why?
You have lost your senses. In China people do not have a right to own land whereas in India you can own land.

yes, Chinese ppl don't own land

Maybe government gives some compensation. But this does not mean that they own the land. Learn the constitution of your country before commenting. Even in cities in China people do not really own their houses as land is taken from government on lease. Your government can kick you out of your houses any time. In India everyone own their houses.

Chinese don't own the land/house, but when the land they use or the land where their houses are needs to be acquired, the government or the business/real-estate developer have to negotiate with and compensate them. And many of the land users become overnight millionaires.

Indians own the land, but many of the peasants are under-compensated.

Interesting.

Most of Indian peasants do not own land. Most of land owned by big landlords.

Basically, most of Indian peasants are croppers in a sharecropping system.

Your statement that peasants in India are under compensated is wrong. As per India laws they are paid more than twice the market value. There is politics going on land acquisition issue in India because India is a democracy.

Even if Chinese get compensation now, there is uncertainty for future. You do not own land. Law does not protect you. You are at whims of future politicians when your lease ends.

Hefty compensation for land led to a remarkble demographic transformation in many villages accross India - In India as well villagers turn crorepatis overnight - Media houses won't report just to please someone out there -

Please care to back your claims with credible sources. After independence, the different states in India gradually started a land reform process in four main categories: abolition of intermediaries (rent collectors under the pre-Independence land revenue system); tenancy regulation (to improve the contractual terms including security of tenure); a ceiling on landholdings (to redistribute surplus land to the landless); and attempts to consolidate disparate landholdings. The extent and success of these reforms varied greatly between the different states of India - but they all ended up abolisining the "Zamindaari System" - or the so called landlords.

these crorepatis were landlords or farmers with a large area of land
in China, many ppl with a small piece of land become millionaires.

your argument is totally wrong. There is law in China which protect the usage of land.
So it means if the govt or company want to acquire that land, they must compensate so that the land users are willing to sell their "usage" over that land. It is by law.

Actually, you can say it is a word game. "ownership" or "usage", just word swap

You dont know anything about India and you talk like a fool. There are no landlords in India. There was land distribution in India in 1950s.

I will give you an example.

Lets say you lease a piece of land in China for 30 years & build a house. After 30 years you need to renew lease & government refuse to renew it. Then what. You are kicked out of your own house.

.
india has a free media, so they can sell themself to anyone who pay like a whore. do you expect they care about those poor farmers.

That is why every year tons of india poor famers drink poisons to death in that hopless country.

according to the new law, the lease is automatically renewed.
