What's new

Why do Indian media seledom disclose land acquisition issues while Chinese media do?

these crorepatis were landlords or farmers with a large area of land
in China, many ppl with a small piece of land become millionaires.

I wonder if a family in possesion of just an acre of land is supposed to be considered the so called "landlord"? - In a village of 400 - are all supposed to be the so called "landlords"? Read the artciles before commenting - the background of those famers with their land area whose land was accquired is well-mentioned - A majority of them were minority ST's. I will leave it here for anyone can alledge anything - you'r free to believe what you want to.

.
you are joking here, India has a lot of landlords who have large area of land
maybe you don't call them landlord, then it is a word game

according to the new law, the lease is automatically renewed.
In India as per law people cannot own more than 8 hectares of land. You dont know anything about India & comment like a fool.

Sharecroppers are people who take land on lease & cultivate. How can they have ownership rights. Another stupid post from Communist Chinese who does not know anything about democracy & capitalism.

Let me explain you what sharecropping is. Lets say I have land but dont have time to cultivate. You do not have land but have time to cultivate land. So we make an agreement that you cultivate my land and we share the money earned from selling the crop 50% each.

the difference is :

In China, nearly all peasants have land. If peasant A has no time to cultivate and thus he lease the land to peasant B.

In India, many peasants have no land, and they have to lease land from landlords or other peasants.
