As soon as the clip went viral on the internet, social media buffs and analysts took aim at the state institution for rewarding the workers who had practically besieged the capital city, however, the reality of the complete ‘Lifafa’ episode depicts a completely different story than narrated on social media.

According to political commentator Taseer Akram Rana, the cash was handed over to the religio-political workers on their request as they had to return back to their homes and they had run short of money.

Moreover, he claimed that the top Rangers official handed over the cash from his own pocket, without inflicting any loss to the national exchequer adding that a chunk of the video clip was intentionally removed in which the protesters could be seen putting a request for some cash.

The analyst claimed that uploading a specific portion of the clip was a bid by Pakistan’s arch-rivals to malign the armed forces, who were playing a pivotal role in weeding out terrorism from the country .

The religious groups who had staged a sit-in against the amendment in the Khatam e Nabuuwat clause in the recently passed Election Act 2017 came to an end hours after the Pakistani government and Tehreek-e-Labbaik struck a deal – brokered by the Army – putting an end to the escalating wave of tension across the country.

Obviously some will crying why 1000 Rs per person were given to those who came to take a stand for Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Why didn't Army instead fired bullets on protestors Pakistan Army belongs to Pakistani People not PML-N or any other party. Army did a good move cause if rupee 1000 can save a billion dollars that is a sensible move if there was a country wide blockade it would have costed country a lot.

Black mail Who? Goons are already doomed why black mail. After the change in oath law public was not going to vote on PML-N that was already clear and PML-N popularity is already shrinking. Many voter are telling their leaders to disassociate them selves from PML-N, Most of south Punjab will go as Azad umeed waar in 2018 lol.

Black mail Who?
You do know that I don't give a flying fcuk about the internal political rivalry between the differant parties. I am on the whole apolitical. I am interested in the bigger picture. I was talking about the craven acquiescence by the Pakistani state, yes the state against bunch of gangsters. The rule of law was shoved up the a*ss of the Pakistani state by these gangsters. This was defeat of the rule of law and the defeat of the state that will resonate more than the Bangla surrender of 1971. I don't think you quite understand the freain implications. To my mind there are two. Both freakin scary.

It was a defeat for the Gov or the Liberals who cares, These were gangsters or not who care the main thing here is to observe what were they saying and what was the demand was it valid or not. Yes Mullahs won the day but not because they were able to pressure but because they had the right agenda. this would have all been avoided if Zahid hamid had resigned as soon as the Law was reversed there would had been not this situation. Mullah calming the day was dangerous but who showed them this path. Were firstly it was Nawaz and then Imran introduced the dharna culture and now we as Pakistanis have to live with it but on the whole the public has no other forum to have their voices heard on immediate basis they have to wait 5 years for elections but dharna is a good tool for public now. Thanks to Nawaz when he went against Musharaf and then Imran when he went against corruption. Mullah had to win here because they had a valid agenda. Now I am not completely considering total Mullah victory as it stopped on one resignation and they left. It was dangerous if they had stayed after the demand was met and then Mullah would have won with impact but Mullah also fear army so it is a win win for Mullah and army but a defeat for politics and Media.
