What's new

Why Bangladesh rocks and why it will for a long time. My perspective

Pretty easy to go; you just need a visa - i'd recommend to visit Islamabad first as it's a stunning place as well and the center of all popular tourist places.

That mosque is so beautiful inside and out. I love it.

is bd really cheap to travel for foreigner?
For someone from India Nepal Bhutan yeah. For someone from far away... the ticket might cost more but internal expense same. Just take care you don't say you're a foreigner to rickshaw pullers. They will make u go broke.

Sigh it's not your fault man that is how they like to portray us  but hey at least now you know how beautiful our country is :)
Thank you :)
Well those were the only thing coming into my mind. Love em :P
I thought I was. But internet here is super cheap. Ethernet type ones that is.
Pakistan is a beautiful country as is India as is Bangladesh. I just wish the division never happened. This region is a piece of heaven.

Truly a heart warming post. It's sad not many Bangladeshis thanked him for it. Probably pissed everyone off with the other thread. :D
Lel being honest so I don't have any regrets. If they want to live in their fantasy and not accept the reality. Not my problem. Their failure.

how much it cost per MB or something based on plan..?
Mobile data cost around same in Kuwait. Ethernet for example my cousin took 20 Mbps for 500tk. In Kuwait that speed for cheap is 20kwd with condition... like amount of downloadable data

Great post.
Thank you mate

i expected just a desert and war for PAK what i always see in western media.. no offense.. !! but here , PAK is green , beautiful , stunning place at all.. i will try to go there in next summer holidays.. :D

There never was any 'war' in Pakistan except for the bad patch we had in 2009-2013 . Army has demolished all the terror networks in our bordering region. Islamabad is more safe than most western cities. Same goes for Lahore or our northern regions. Pakistan is in its best shape economic , security wise in more than a decade.

Yes there are deserts in Pakistan. Pakistan is one of the few countries in the world where you can see mountains , deserts , rivers , multi ethnic cultures . What sets Pakistan apart from other countries is its diversity. You see hundreds of different cultures and people. Landscape wise All provinces are different thats what sets it apart . Sindh has old civilizations , Punjab is mostly flat with green fields , Balochistan is similar to arizona, is very wild and KPK is a mountanous province while Gilgit baltistan has unrivalled alpine scenery. The diversity in landscape is amazing. You can experience -50 C in Gilgit baltistan and go down in Sindh and experience 50 degrees sweltering heat . We do get our share of western tourists. To imagine the diversity here check out shangrila.

Highest mountains in the world on one side , desert on another side , green belts in the middle and oasis to top it.

People don't check out facts before judging Pakistan . We are the least poor of the big 3 countries in South asia , have the least inequality and 26th biggest economy in terms of PPP:).

My favourite picture of Islamabad. From a hillside.

Bruh. How humid is Pakistan?

.
I consider it to be more than first world beauty. It's nature is just above anything else man made.

True.. It makes up more than enough for the lack of development compared to developed nations.. I think every one of us are highly biased when it comes to our own homelands and obviously think it's the best, So the real validation i think comes from visitors, How they view it from a neutral point of view, People, Culture and landscapes.. Check out this thread i made about tourist perspectives of Sri Lanka.. All amateur footage

Mate with all due respect i think that holds true for majority of countries around the world, Big and small, Places like India, The US, Britain, Australia, China, Brazil, Bangladesh, Indonesia and South Africa are incredibly diverse with thousands of languages and Hundreds of ethnic, Religious group's within their borders.. Even tiny city states like Singapore are incredibly diverse

That was a prologue to what i was about to say next. My original point was there are few places where you can see the highest of mountains , the biggest of deserts , hottest temperatures and the coldest temperatures in the world in such a compact area. While there are few variations in the countries you mentioned its not as extreme as it is in Pakistan. In Pakistan you will be standing on the highest mountains in the world with -40 and you go down 2-3 hours you will find deserts with 40 degrees heat.

Pakistan has some amazing topography, Especially it's mountains, Would love to visit Hunza valley and Muree one day, Especially if i'm lucky enough to see a snow leopard in the wild.. Pakistan is potentially a huge tourist hotspot just waiting to explode, Hope stability will continue and it becomes a reality soon

Murree is a developed hill station . People from islamabad go there to get respite from heat. Landscape wise i recommend Hunza valley , deosai , fairy meadows , swat and Kashmir .

Thanks to army operations things are back to normal. Tourism is witnessing a growth and more foreign tourists are visiting.

Bruh. How humid is Pakistan?

I think recently Pakistani and Sri Lankan governments came in to agreement promoting Buddhist tourism to Gandhara and Taxila area's.. Pakistan has a great Buddhist heritage they can make use of, There is huge potential there too, India, Indonesia and Nepal attracts tens and thousands of tourists to their Buddhist sites from East Asia and places like Lanka, China Korea and Japanese along with Western tourists..
