Kargil is Shia dominated, they have never been pro Pakistan in history, so I doubt that. There is hardly one incidence of protest in Kargil or Leh per year, mostly local politics.
What is telling is that Ladakh as a whole including Kargil elected a BJP candidate this year by a big margin, mainly because Muslims voted for BJP as well.

First of all this MP is not a representative of sentiments of Muslims of Ladakh

Secondly whether you were born there or used to take a dump there the fact is that muslims of Ladakh would have no problem living under Pakistan along with their kin on other side LOC.

They share everything with someone living in Skardu and not with some buddhist living in Leh . It is obvious that they would want to unite with them

Modi could very easily have solved the pundit issue and organised the return of pundits only. He didn't do this. He exploited the fact that pundits were forced out due to lack of security and instead of assuring only their right of return (which is quite reasonable and a morally appropriate stand point), Modi decided to say all Indians can leech their way into Kashmir.

Modi is in fact exploiting the pundits but they're too deep into Hindutva to realise this.

The pundits originally left because of the war Delhi started and continued to wage against Muslim Kashmiris. Whatever ill has befallen the pundits is actually Delhi's fault. I dare say even that had pundits not been so brainwashed, they should have stood by Kashmir Muslims many years ago and declared that Delhi stay out of Kashmir's affairs and hands off its autonomous status.

The vote share of this official is irrelevant as many Muslims may well have voted for him. What matters is the demographic make up of ladakh. It is anywhere between 40 and 50% Muslim. They aren't happy about Delhi's actions.

It is called Working Boundary, not International Border. International Border divides undisputed areas of India and Pakistan.
