It's so damn hilarious. Shaan, Reema, even Jibran Nasir among many others do takay k celebrities called it a threat to local culture.
First off, this is a reality check for these people that they are out of touch with Pakistani people feelings and emotions for so long. They feel threatened that more Turkish dramas could come and they would be out of whatever little viewership they have. Instead of whining like losers, why not learn and improve yourselves? Nay, these filthy people had the idea that people only watch dirty stuff and not Islamic so they never made anything like this despite being in Islamic Republic. They also can't act and there's a lot of overacting.
Secondly for threat to culture and identity what culture? What identity? Our culture has so much Hindu crap added into it, and we don't have an identity. We have been here just now.
But look at these celebrities show their inner filth. Hindu dramas have been shown in Pakistan for decades and they have corrupted our society, our kids, our language. Yet they didn't feel any threat. A TV show glorifying Islam is shown here and they're on fire? I wonder how much they care for Islam. So what, if we catch some good Turkish culture, good Islamic values? No, that's wrong but corrupting ourselves with our enemy's bad culture is okay.
Besides, as a Muslim, culture is the last thing on anyone's mind. This show is making home in our hearts because of what is shown. The Turkish culture isn't different from ours anyway.
Lastly, i hate culture bullcrap. The Ottomans were Turk, are you going to reject Ottoman empire because your culture is different? What about Mamluks who saved Islamic world? What about Arabs? Are you going to reject Islam because it came to Arabs like the Jews did? What about Imam Mehdi, he will be from Arabs.
Culture/Racism is what made many Qurayshi people not accept Islam and so much fitna was created. These people are sending us back to those days of jahiliya but what do they know? They engage in fahashi all day, you don't learn Islam from that.
