why you keep talking big and do nothing .... if you wanna do it you would have done in 1947 under UN itself...... all big talk are hollow nothing else. ...... nothing but all is this delusion claims which you leave PAK a least important country in economics...Which territory in specific?
We will when its done in a coordinated manner and the other side does the same thing. Indians know the result of a free vote, they also know that colonialism can't keep people oppressed forever, things change. Russian empire then USSR had colonised the Central Asia for two centuries only for the USSR to disintegrate mainly due to its own control freak decisions. You can try and keep Kashmir oppressed in a belief that your occupation will be an enduring one - maybe - but it still won't affect the end result.
Sorry sir...we are not leaving Kashmir... Kashmir holds both strategic and religious importance and top of them all. ." Water"
Ya point no 2 takes plebiscite out of the equation ..My dear friend, as just a spectator here on PDF, i learned all about Kashmir, So thanks to you guys on PDF.
On a serious note, I think point no. 2 is most important.
What do you think?
ofcourse I agree...who the hell cares about stone pelting people!!!no talk of plebiscite till all Kashmir pundits are returned!!(cuz we only want plebiscite in our favor..if not, no body give a crap about plebiscite)!!!You know....Smart Politics!!!Exactly.
You are admitting that India's reluctance to the plebiscite has nothing to do with Pakistan, nothing to do with demographics or history, but is purely for its own reasons.
Your points are relevant to the 1948 Resolution, but not to the fundamental question of self-determination.
Never mind what Pakistan does, the question is: is India confident enough to allow Indian held Kashmir to decide its own fate?
Can India act like mature democracies in Canada and UK, or is Indian "democracy" just a sham?
Says who?
Plebiscite or no plebiscite, Kashmir will be free.

Agree. Even if the civilian governments are at the brink of solving it, Pak army will pull up stunts like Kargil. And even if it gets Kashmir, just to be relevant it will demand parts of Indian Punjab.Does the Pak Army really want to solve the Kashmir 'dispute'? Not by a long shot.
Because if Kashmir is solved, then what would be the use of a such a huge army backed by a nuke arsenal? Their preeminence in Pak society would wither away and the PA would become non-entities!
Kashmir is the PAs life support system. The raison d'etre for their very existence.
So, no. The PA will keep Kashmir on the boil till the cows come home - which means never. All this BS from Pakistan they want the Kashmir issue resolved is pure unadulterated rubbish.
if a referendum is held to be in india on kashmir...i am sure 99.999% votes would be favorable to india.
Nevermind what India does, will Pakistan be confident to allow the Kashirmiris in your part to decide it own fate?
