And i think because PTI this time MQM vote will be increase from 139386 to between 150,000 to 200,000 because didn't vote much because they know MQM will win and now because of challenge (Made by Media) MQM voter will come and vote again. This is my personnel view and i may be wrong here.

MQM is going to win this seat, the odds are 70-30 in favor of MQM in my view. Although PTI has gained good support in Karachi, it still needs some time to uproot MQM from her strong holds like NA-246.

I hope this will be a close competition, expecting surprise with fingers crossed.

Everyone expects MQM to win but they are in a very tough spot right now.

I held my nose and predicted MQM will win since it still has the majority support but this time their votes will be reduced due to rising PTI.

I think MQM will win but the dirty tactics her leaders and workers employing against PTI will cost them votes. At-least for the first time in a long period of time there is party in Karachi willing to contest against MQM hegemony and this in itself is like a death sentence for certain MQMers.

I'm loving the way, PTI is giving sleepless nights to MQM leaders and hardcore workers. By 2018, I can see PTI becoming a strong force in Karachi. PTI needs to work on grass root level till 2018, especially in Punjab and Sindh. But instead, they are more focused on other things.

The only thing I'm looking for in this NA-246 election is votes difference between PTI and MQM. In 2013 elections on this seat, PTI was distant second. Lets see how much PTI can reduce the margin..

According to my recent information ... PTI is being supported from Ismaili community ... And it has come to my knowledge that Imran Ismail & Faisal Vawda are themselves Ismaili ... Anyways I nothing to do it but I mentioned it just for seeing though the constituency .........

NA-246 is comprised on following areas ......
1) Liaquatabad
2) Bandhani Colony
3) Bhangoria Town
4) Gharibabad
5) Sharifabad
6) Karimabad
7) Hussainabad
8) Azizabad
9) Yaseenabad
10) Dastageer Colony
11) Gulberg
12) Ancholi
13) Samanabad
14) F.C. Area

These are almost 14 most populated areas ... And MQM has massive support in those areas and to some extend JI as well ... If we get isolated Ismaili community with others then we found Karimabad is fully populated with Ismaili community and they also reside in Hussainabad and adjoined areas but not in majority ........

So after this analyze I think they can get #02 spot instead JI .............

Who is talking results here, we are talking rigging. And i know very well that in 2013 mqm did massive rigging breaking into polling stations and casting thousands of ballots at gun point.

You don't even begin to understand how massive the rigging was, by all candidates. From Arif Alvi bringing the voting material including stamps and ballot papers, to the polling station, in his own car, to fake votes and what not. Under a free and impartial election the result would not really be much different throughout the country. And do you know why that is? Because rigging is done by candidates only where they are the strongest and not where they are the weakest!
