What was the total manpower strength of Pakistan army, air force, navy and paramilitary forces (both active and reserve) ?

Some figures (1965):-

180,000 personnel (active) in Army
680 Main Battle Tanks in Army
675 Aircraft in PAF

What about small arms?

Basically wwii/ colonial era rifles and guns. This was true for many militaries around the world at that time:
M1 Garand (US)
Enfield rifle .303
Browning automatic rifle
Sten and bren guns
(List is incomplete)

India was also using the same British stuff

Just to add a little more that I've seen in old photos:

The army museum has M1A1 Thompsons hanging around although I have never seen them in photos from the time.

The mainstay was probably the M1 Garand. Enfield SMLE rifles were only see in the hands of irregulars (Hur Desert Force e.t.c.)

West German weapons (G3/MG1A3) were probably introduced after the war in the late 60s:

Yeah but if you look at India they too strengthen their defense.
India and Pakistan both on verge to became like USA and Russia for each other where war is no option but they will still fight politically or through proxies.

Yeah, but we are both neck to neck despite a big difference in both countries defence budget. If you look at the strength of Pakistan at IB or LOC I don't see Pakistan armed forces giving a bit space to India to invade us.

Matter is back up for long war more than 30 days but considering India's relations with China, India can't take risk to move all forces / assets at Pakistani borders, as I said war becoming impossible for both nations.

It could be or may a mistake by journo who some times exaggerate too far. But yes India is suffering great because of locally produce sub standard ammo and low supply rates. There is a big corruption running throughout the ranks Indian generals making crores in defense deals while junior officer sell ration meant for soldiers.

I think 675 was total fleet - all types of aircraft.
