All this was discussed over a month ago, when the news first came out. There are plans for nearly 2 dozen energy projects, none of them are a secret, you can go on the official government website about CPEC and read all about them.

This dam was proposed by our government as being added to the project, the terms the Chinese offered weren't great, we then withdrew it from the project. It's simple business.

You people need to stop thinking of CPEC as charity.
