Diplomacy is still the best bet. I don't think it is in interest of anybody to let situation escalate. China hasn't have good relations with its eastern neighbors and now having a situation like this especially after Xi's just concluded visit will make matters even worse for Modi government which is trying to make a new beginning. Hope better sense prevails.

And just to see how pathetic your country is, India has population of 1.23 billion living in total area of 3,287,263 sq km while you have a country with 1.35 billion living in 9,596,960 sq km most of which is barren in Tibet. So in short we have nearly same amount of people living in three times smaller land then yours. Yet, instead of developing your barren land you are encroaching our land. Really pathetic.
