What makes a super power

Here's my criteria for a country to be a super power:

1. Both long and wide on the map, thousands of kilometers long and wide.

2. Area at least several million square kilometers.

3. Population at least in the triple digits millions.

4. Manufactures nukes.

5. Manufactures all of its conventional military hardware, including carriers, bombers, AWACs, aerial refuellers.

As such, currently 3 countries meet the criteria of super power: China, the US, Russia. India is a potential super power if India manufactures its own bombers and aerial refuellers.

We are Regional Super Power, not Global one.

On Global scale we are a Rising Power, we are far from being even a Great Power.

US is the only true superpower- No real threats among its neighbors, sitting astride two major oceans and protected by a navy more powerful than the rest of the world combined. It is almost invulnerable at home and can project its power to an extent that no one can. Additionally, a vast network network of allies and military bases, a military that is unmatched technologically and well-blooded in numerous wars and conflicts, CBGs that patrol the world- the list goes on and on.
