I would go on to say the 1898 Boxer Rebllion was the start of Changes what occured in China, Turkey and China went through a simmlar process both the Qing and Ottomans tried to reform but failed due to the monarchs decadence and clinging to negatives of traditional culture I mean 40 years before Ataturk ablioshed the Ottoman Empire the Ottomans were the first Muslim State to have Democracy and a Parlamient however those were cosmetic, China, and Turkey had to deal with hard truths and pain to get where they are today
Well, clearly you are a well read person. You will see a pattern in Turkey, China and Japan. When exposed to European superiority there were two impulses. One to go insular and go clutch tradition or face the Europeans by adapting liberally from them - the ideas and thoughts that gave them the edge. This also included the outer manifestation of dress etc. That is why you will see Chinese banned the pig tail. The Turks banned the traditional Ottoman Fez cap. The process of adapting European ideas was not easy as many forces within Turkey, China and Japan opposed them. It was at times a bloody affair but the pro west forces won. And in doing so put those nations on road to where they are today.

Look at us though !

Corruption is the biggest problem that created another problem you call mullahism.
for example = corrupt ppp created the likes of mumtaz qadri

Btw All indians voted for india

As much as I admire Mao and the Current People's Republic of China govt there are times where I wished that Chiang Kai Shek wasnt so incompetent and the Kuomantang
Both were Europhiles. The CPC was inspired by Marxism and Russians whereas Chiang Ke Shek were more inspired by the Anglo-Saxons. But both are European iterations.

I'm sorry to say but mullaism and corruption kinda go hand in hand. the criminal silence of the mullas only encourages corruption that much more as we have repeatedly seen.

Our biggest threat is lack of and/or wrong sense of Nationalism/Patriotism.
We need to start looking at our actions whether they benefit or harm our country.

For the sack of poll, I'd say:
1. Corruption(majority of people which no patriotism at all)
2. Mullahism(minority of people with no or wrong sense of patriotism)
3. External enemy taking advantage of 1 & 2.

In current situation we Pakistanis are the biggest threat to ourselves most of us can do anything for money even sell our nation. And for the Mullah gang offer them UK US Citizenship im sure they will say labbaik

I appreciate that you have an interest in history and past geo-politics like me its one of the reason why I joined PDF in the first place was to meet similar minded folks to discuss History,Pakistan as a nation, and geopolitics.I always loved history, travelling and geopolitics going back when my father and uncles would sit down drink tea and smoke I would listen in as a child plus I always carried maps be it local transit maps or world maps I was geography nerd when I was child another reason why my circle of friends then and now are pretty low as most kids my age are too busy #trends.Because of that for many years I wanted to be Broadcast Journalist, Historian or Politician growing up during HS I use to intern at a local College TV and Radio station or work on political campaigns too, however due to "Desi" family mentality of we want all our kids to be Doctors, Lawyers or some STEM field I had to settle for more pragmatic form of study and yet I still dont know what do with my life at age 20 or in college for the matter of fact, to be frank I have come to learn that the media is a tool of hostile states and that academics like Historians can be bought to malign nations like Pakistan.India spends millions of dollars each year not just on lobbying the United States Congress or rallying their diaspora but on Academics to spread "Ancient Indian" history which is heavily biased towards Pakistan yet Pakistan does not spent a dime to counter that and our diaspora isnt as united SIGH.

Chiang Kai Shek was actually less inspired by the Anglo-Saxons you may refer to Dr.Sun Yat Sen the founder of the Republic of China or the Father of Modern China as many historians claim as well.If You study the period from 1911-1949 the Kuomontang(Chinese Nationalist Party) had many alliances with several powers at the time, the USSR,USA,Nazi Germany(Before 1936) ,Britain I think because of terrible double dealing the KMT eventually would lose to the CCP under Mao in the late 1940s.Dr Sun Yat Sen was more of a Europhile than Chiang Kai Shek he studied in Hawaii, spent years in exile in America and the west converted to Protestant Christianity and became certified Doctor of Western Medicine and he thought for China to modernize it had to ditch Conficious ideals for Christian ideals.Chiang on the other hand was more in favor of traditional Chinese culture and the positive aspects of it , he also studied in Japan so he had more Pan-Asian ideals prior to Japanese invasion and rape of Mainland China in the 1930s.

In current situation we Pakistanis are the biggest threat to ourselves most of us can do anything for money even sell our nation. And for the Mullah gang offer them UK US Citizenship im sure they will say labbaik

The same diaspora "mullahs" would rather send us 2nd Gen to fight in Syria and croak over "muh Uighurs" and being pawns of the western geo-political chess game of the Middle East while they all enjoy the benefits of western states and Passports

Turkey, China and Japan opposed them. It was at times a bloody affair but the pro west forces won. And in doing so put those nations on road to where they are today.

For Pakistan these days to go what Turkey,China and Japan went through during the early 20th century, will not work I dont think full scale Secularism or buying wholesale western ideals is a good idea Pakistan needs to come with unified non-provincial Nationalism and identity which Jinnah, and Ayub Khan tried doing also we must readopt symbols and our Mughal past no I am not talking about making chessy 1960s or 70s Mughal films with stupid songs I mean like educating our youth about the Mughal Empire's glory days too many people that are young dont know about or us in the diaspora know very little about it of if we know its those libturds who think they are Indians and wish 1947 never occured think it was bad towards "muh traditional Indian Culture"

If i have to vote,,i will vote for "other" i.e. lack of purpose,,Pakistan even aftr 70 yrs lacks purpose,a solid identity n shows no serious intent to change.
I mean if u r a islamic nation,,thn do it properly or atleast try.build world class madrassas.provide proper islamic education,,follow shariah.
Change ur national language to somthng local or atleast which isnt blatantly common with indians.
If not thn try somthng else.being a thali ka bengan wont get u anywhere.

Btw I am offened,,,India is actually one of the reason for Unity of Pakistan alongwith Islam,,offourse

1. Other.
2. Mullahs
3. Corruption.

The biggest threat we face is the lack of education. If we were an educated society the rest of the threats would diminish. People who are in the habit of thinking critically and extensively about something can sense the threats and not fall for false narratives.

I agree with the bit in bold. We only pay lip service to Islam. Happy to die for it, not happy to live it.

Corruption
Negligence (others)
Lack of coordination and communication among people and organizations(others).
