While everyone is looking at Afghanistan....More of strategic oil rich Marib Governorate has fallen to Houthis...I have seen reports that Israeli mercenaries are now fighting for Saudi side also but the momentum is with the Houties... more Tribes are joining them..

MBS personally is so much invested in this stupid war that he is throwing in everything regardless of the future consequences for Saudi state...They had to withdrawal most of the heavy armor from the Marib due to losses...

Yemeni Houthis kiss the ground after a big victory....good fighters they are.

On September 17, the Houthis announced that they “liberated” more than 1,600 square kilometers in the central Yemeni province of Ma’rib from the Saudi-led coalition and its proxies during a recent large-scale operation.

Around 3,000 Saudi-backed fighters were killed, 12,400 others were wounded and 550 were captured. Furthermore, 1,500 vehicles of Saudi-backed forces were destroyed, burned or damaged.

Qouting southfront lmao. According to that website marib has fallen million times.. Houtis have lost 10000 fighters in just few months and now have issues recruiting. They also lost territories verified news.

Houtis have lost territories in the south.. They can never defeat hadis army and the southern separatists..

The more it drags out they will give territories the otherside is not in a hurry and counting on eventually houthi fatigue by just keep the war going on them until they run completely dry out of resources and run out of ammos eventually

Sir, where do you think they receive technological aid?

Its true that they are surrounded by western led axis of Israeli/saudi/emirati but there is always a way to compensate the deficiencies. Yemen is a country of millions and the easiest way to support them is to provide them with blueprints and some of sensitive electronic parts. They can do the rest.

The recent drone attack against vital assets of Sauds proved you are wrong. An Assembly line and then its done.

So far Yemenis have done so well to strike fear in the hearts of invading forces, and with USA pulling out of the region, Sauds are gonna receive a serious blow from Yemen. Its all predicted and coordinated. Sauds started something Let's leave the ending process to the Yemeni.

All I can say is that this yemen war will not end well for MBS..if taliban with no outside help could defeat the US then surely Houthis can do the same to MBS army and they have outside help ..so it is just a matter of time...the writing is already on the wall...

The problem is they Arent really fighting an outside force but a stubborn local opponent that has zero intention to go anywhere whatsoever this is not even remote comparable.. These yemenis ain't going anywhere the houthis know this themselves and can't defeat it is logistically impossible to undo Hadi and the Southern separatist group

Houthis are gaining more and more strategic ground. These Houthi Hanafi Zaydis have been the most elitest warriors of Yemen. They're from Hamdan tribe, one of the most martial and loyalist Arm of Prophet Muhammad and later Ali ibn Abi Talib. Hamdanis were elite cavalry of Ali and Rasool Allah. Most notable were Jundub al Hamdani, Malik e Ashtar al Naqai ul Hamdan, Al Haris Al Hamdani etc.. If you look at the records, no invader could ever settle their feet in Yemen just like in Afghanistan. Hadi, US Mercenaries or Saudis. They can never defeat these Hamdani Zaydi Sunnis.

They're fighting foreign puppets just like Taliban fought Pro US Govt.

They have been subdued many times by the Salahuddin Ayoubi, Mamlukis and the Ottomans. All these have subdued them before and now Hadis boys and the Southern Separatists will subdue them entirely. Just watch and learn. They lost the day they fired one bullet.

They have recently lost 10.000 fighters in just few months and there were reports of them having issues of even recruiting fighters they are on their lost legs they also recently lost territories in Bayda areas due to Southern separatists offensive there.

This will drag on for few more years but eventually get overhwelmed as the otherside have no intention of stopping because it has turned into a lucrative jihad consumption market. Yemen will turn into a commericialized fighting zone to dump people who wanna wage jihad hence no one has reasons to close the front

I've debated with you before. Go and jjst read layman history of Ayubis Ottomans Mamluks in Yemen. They ALWAYS had to
make deals with Hamdanis and save their face. Go ahead and read this.

You have taken out some selective qoutes to make it appear that way but I know the history in that country they were routed by the Ottomans on several occasions who held the country firmly.

Also Hamdanis who? Mamlukis and Ayoubis saved no issues but held to it firmly also

Are you kidding me or you're a retard?

Ottomans made 6 attempts to take Yemen. Ending up with last one failed as well. Do you lack basic IQ?

US-led forces toppled Afghan Taliban in a span of just 2 months in 2001 (in the phase of 'major combat operations').

The war in Yemen have entered 7th year and KSA have not managed to overthrow Houthi yet.

Afghanistan = Landlocked; very large and challenging terrain. Afghan Taliban have many anchors and hideouts in the region as well.

No country can have absolute control Afghanistan in view of its geography and surroundings in a war. Iran was also reluctant to fight a war with Afghan Taliban in the 1990s.

Yemen = Open to Arabian Sea. Houthi can be boxed in and eliminated. KSA does not have much of a navy however.

There is no comparison. Houthi are not really tested in true sense. KSA is still in learning phase.

Since the Ottoman conquest of Yemen in 1517, it had been known as the Yemen Eyalet. After the Tanzimat reforms in the Ottoman Empire, Yemen Vilayet was established from most of the former Eyalet in 1872.[4] In the 1830s, aided by the collapse of the Zaidi Imamate due to internal division and the adoption of modern weaponry after the Crimean War, the Ottomans moved into northern Yemen, eventually taking San'a and making it the capital of the Yemen Vilayet in 1872. Even then, Ottoman control was largely confined to cities.

Starting in 1872, after the Sana'a region was firmly under control, Ahmed Muhtar Pasha set about restructuring the administration of the Yemen vilayet, dividing it into four sanjaks, with San'a' city serving as capital of the vilayet.[5] Asir became a sanjak of Yemen in 1872.[6]

----------------

Since 1517 The ottomans had held large parts of Yemen and eventually taken the reamining it was not because it was difficult but because it was stragetically not valueable the Ottomans wanted to control the strait and San'aa is deep into the land and not near the ocean but Ottomans presence and rule lasted there for nearly 400 years and even ruled San'aa at some points
