What impact will todays election in NA149 will have on politics ? Javed Hashmi supported by PMLN lost and pti supported candidate lost. Turnout wasnt very high but good enough for by-election.

Looks like Zardari is smarter than Nawaz Sharif and understood that PTI tsunami is getting strength thats why instead of government he is attack PTI

Well the most basic one will be that many politicians will be aware that they just cant leave a party and start talking trash against them as the people are sick of this lota crap. that would be the most basic effect on all politicians. Expecting greater loyalties and imran has won a good battle against N. The thing is the PTI N rivalry is turning out to be a big one in pakistan which will show the strength of PTI as a rising main party which is brilliant for PTI.

On short term bases this is a good victory against N which will give PTI more confidence in their approach however N can use this as a stepping stone and claim that the elections are fair since the people demanded that a dirty politician be defeated and he was defeated. Depends on who uses this politically well for short term gains.
