I believe that the Russians will ultimately invade the Baltics maybe even this decade.

I wouldnt bet on that, they got invovled on the syrian theater in 2015 when the price was even 45$.

The people of Baltic are too hostile to Russia. Their languages are very different from Russian unlike Ukrainian. There is a Russian minority living in the Baltic region but they are not that big.

Yeah but the World was full of resources and potential for us to grow and continue back then. You may think that the technology will save us humans from the extinction but instead it will be one of the reasons behind the apocalypse. This doesn't mean that Terminator-like robots will hunt humans but it will lead to many wars while there would be no resources left. You can imagine the destruction once you think about the invention of atomic bombs. Just think about it, humanity is able to make bombs that can kill hundreds of thousands of humans by splitting atoms...

People of Baltic states are not hostile to Russia. If Russia respects their independence I see no reason for hostile relationship

Estonia still lays claim to Ivangorod due to irredentism. Ivangorod used to be part of Estonia for about 20 years before Russia took it back in the 1940s during WW2. It is likely Estonia will invade Russia for Ivangorod if they get the opportunity to do so which is unlikely in the next 500 years.

The other Baltic states Latvia and Lithuania are Slavic countries like Russia and have good relations with Russia. Estonia is not an Indo European country let alone Slavic so they are hostile to Russia.
