Hello,
As PDF is the place to rationalise your thoughts and is a forum to have an insight of others opinion , I was interested to know what you learned here spending your much time here.

As it's a defence site, mostly topics were related to defence and military power but still how people here care about the well being of this country and share their knowledgeable views to enlighten other learners is what makes it the best forum in Pakistan , in my opinion .
This is what I learned here and how it changed my thoughts ,

1- I was a provincial person , more than the country I had care for my province but with time I learned , we all are under same umbrella, it's only your hard work and ambition that makes you a successful person instead of the provincial favoritism or whatever u call it , these nationalistic parties are fooling you to get votes and play with your little minds.

2- I had no any idea of minorities of our country , for me they didn't even exist but here I learned how important are our minorities and it's our duty to treat them well and respect them . It turned me good about our ahmadiya community . .

3- I learned nationalism is bad , very bad .. how it can ruin your common sense and makes u an arrogant bad person . With time , my nationalism decreased .

4- This forum helped me improve my English grammar and increased my debating skills and I'm still struggling to improve more.

5- I saw an educated rational youth of Pakistan and made me belive no matter where u r from , you are same . Rich poor, you all are same .

6- I learned about secularism , democracy and dictatorship and it's role in our country .

7- Last thing , it was good to know people here love balochistan more than the people of balochistan . And it's a good thing .

I have the intention to stay more in the forum , so I can develop my thoughts much more . I'm only 21 , and I'm glad I've developed my thoughts at such age and it would help me in my later life and can help me if I stay firm on my intention to do CSS.

Please share your improvements too here and the change in your views u developed .

@OverLoad,

Why don't you write on this? I don't think the new kids know you, or about you. And even older members might want to hear your own point of view.

As you know I got banned just over a week when I changed my ID from Maarkhoor to overload,
PDF for me is a highway, one lane goes forward one lane going back and it is up to you what lane you choose and I am pretty happy that O.P is on right track but on the same hand I am sad that this platform turns many into green and sfaroon bhakts.

I stay firm on my intention to do CSS.

Good luck. I am also giving attempt. If you are 21 then you have plenty of time and this forum can really help you. I have often stated that under the muck of trolling lies a treasure hold of knowledge.

For me. It took my political sense and current events sense to a whole new level and interaction with military personal gave me an understanding of the military relationship between Pakistan and india and it also helped me understand the in depth detail of the wars we have fought as well as the problems faced by pakistan as a whole along with our foreign policy.

It helped me understand how wars are fought and understood and how Lines like the LOC work.

Perhaps most intriguing was the relationship of Afghanistan with Pakistan, its hostilities and of course the relationship of Arabs and Persians..

It showed me the path and I researched a lot myself to understand more and more and more. Even the Sunni shia rift and their relationship and yes ahmediyya as well.

This forum provided the nudge and I took the path. I do owe a lot to this forum.

Perhaps the most interesting was the india Bangladesh relationship. Yes this along with Afghanistan Pakistan relationship.

Golden words, but I suspect most of them have it in their hearts and minds already; PDF just gives them the skills to express themselves, rotten though those expressions are.

Respect to your father or his views. It is the same in my family. Everyone must be well established be it boy or girl before marriage.

Advice for CSS. If you are ever in lahore or Karachi then get books of foreign writers. Apparently only one bloke sells them in Quetta and he charges like business would in a monopoly.

Start slow slow preparations especially of essay and compulsory. I would wait on the choice subjects due to uncertainty of cluster based system.

Compulsory alone will take your time. English essay the one which fails even the best should take priority. See past papers and take notes of techniques of essays.
