What gives you strength in life?

:bunny::bunny::bunny:

:partay:

Does that answer the question? I can't speak for Horus, though.

Speaking from a reflective position, being a single guy is hard. I do wish that I had a gf or fiance to share my joys, successes, life moments with. That's the caveat in focusing in personal and professional development first and relationships last, i guess. Well, I plan to change that.

I need to find the balance , lol.

And as much as i hate to say this, I think its time I get married soon. :P

I noticed that you are using so often this " :bunny: "
This is suspect.

I'm trying to be PG-13 here!!! *biting tongue*

Yeah, I make good use of the bunny for that very reason:enjoy:. Can't be too crass with young-lings about. However, I do like to dance to and am a somewhat frequent visitor to the clubs of D.C. Dancing like an idiot is a good way to unwind after a long week.

I like your plan. I would have been in the same position, positioning myself for success before relationships, if it wasn't for my meeting my Fiancee while in the Navy. Life is full of serendipity, good fortune will find you too.

Don't despair, hold course, put yourself in a good position from a financial, professional and housing perspective, once you have stability, then it's time to pursue "other" opportunities. Too many people do the opposite and see their lives fall apart. It's a shame.

Your plan might not be fun now, but it is far more stable in the long-term and that positions you for long-term happiness rather than short-term fun or enjoyment.

Thanks man, am slowly getting back in the dating field. So far, had some luck in just hanging out with some lady friends through a 20s and 30s networking gathering in Philly on weekends. Its kinda interesting so far, going on dates with younger girls (ealry 20s, to early mid 20s).

Enjoy this time mate because once you are married with a few kids and all the pressure of life. you will look back at this point of your life and notice how care free it was.

No cougar hunting:(? Honestly, I actually like older women. More mature, more stable, more experienced with life. Not trying to figure themselves or their lives out. Tend to be less emotional, especially if they've had previous failed relationships. I like stability, though I'm rather spontaneous, suppose I need someone to balance my craziness.

Also joking aside, best of like. As @yuba said, once you're married all your happiness, and your soul, is gone.

Good luck with the dating though:yahoo:!!! That is a lot of fun! One piece of advice though. I a women asks for your hand marriage after only one date... run, Run and RUN!!!

 - an actually prorate of my Fiancee'

Yea, ive gone on some dates with girls who still don't know what they're looking for. I mean, wild girls are fun, but right now am looking for someone who's like me -- professional, and looking to settle down. Not looking for a 'house wife' per se, but i'd like to find a lady that's professional yet wouldn't mind staying home when the time arises for the kids. LOL, trying to say that to them during dates is weird tho -- hahaha. I had one American girl ask me during a date, "Are you okay with marrying someone that's not Japanese or Asian? Would your parents be okay if you brought me home?" LOL! Like seriously, --- didn't know American girls are so concerned about being culturally accepted....that's really different ! But yea, defniitely open minded in seriously dating American girls.

Before I was kind of scared about it since i was worried about cultural similarities, but you know, after being in the 'states for a while now, Americans can be very adaptive and open minded to different cultures.

Wild girls are very fun, but not good for stable relationships, just a good weekend on the town. But everyone needs that every once in a while, even married people.

Another piece of advice. Stay away from Russian women. They may be pretty, but they can be demanding too. They Looovvvveeee money! No money, no love:(.

 - I feel abused sometimes, but I like it:chilli:

I'm going outside the "norm", buddy. All my previous serious relationships were with Japanese, Chinese and my most recently serious relationship was with a Korean chic. Now I'm going on dates with white girls. Lots of Italians, Irish, and Germans in the SOJO area tho. But them Italian girls tho....daaaaayammm....Bella Bambina!
