Western Media Lying About Taliban(Watch Thread)

.
This British General spoke the truth. Very rare of anyone to speak that truth. Pata nai ab bechare ka kya hoga.

Surprised but the history tells us that "YOU CANNOT TRUST GORA ... " ... they are like "Baghal mein churi or mon pe ram ram" ....

. . .

Another CNN video full of lies but this time it is mixed with hired local actors. What exactly will they get after trying everything short of nuclear weapons in Afghanistan.

Do they want to start the war all over again?

The Taliban should step by step break down the videos this CNN girl is making in an ISPR style press conference.

If there are any videos online about the war that anyone wants to save, now is the time to download them as they are being scrubbed.

First might be on gov websites but soon it will be YouTube and the like.

. .
In the press conference, they said they would allow free press and host Western based channels. I wonder if they have already? So, they can show the reality.

Open media stations for RT, PressTV, local Youtube channels and the likes would be a good start.

They also need to use English speaking Afghan host/press reporters and put in subtitles for the non-English speakers instead of using dubious journos on background translating it.

This is their media efforts so far, according to the AfghanEye.

IMHO, Having English speaking hosts could help in conveying their message to an international audience as well as call out all the disinformation being spread on social media and news media at their semi-daily news conferences. They might also want to compile all the interviews to all the foreign and domestic media into one video to show their side of the story and dispel the misinformation. The key will be the narrative, similar to what the British COAS said; “they are country boys”, basically local partisans similar to partisans in the history of other nations. These videos could stand in for “Ambassadors” in the many most spoken languages of the world, until they actual have ambassadors (that they trust) that speak these languages.

A lot of the narrative is about making them out to be the bogeyman, but they are more akin to the Iranians during the 1979 revolution, just armed. As long as their media strategy is sound, and they stick to their promises of rights and safety, and don’t take any foreigners hostage like the 1979 embassy situation, they might be able to build an image the world could accept. It’s good the media is there to point out any misbehaving members of their ranks, to nip any abuses in the bud, and hopefully reassure the public that they mean they are about enforcing their rules especially upon themselves.

perhaps in the end they might come to the conclusion to help Afghans leave the country that disagree with them, similar to the exodus of the loyalists from America after the American revolution and Royalists from Iran after the 1979 revolution. Even providing buses to get Afghans all over the city to Kabul might be a wise strategy to rid themselves of people that will be a thorn in their rule in short order and may collaborate with foreign agendas or local resistance movements. With the potential “trouble makers” gone they could invite delegations from Muslim countries at first, then potential business partner companies, and finally from the UN and the West to see how they are doing. Also at that point they could invite back in all the countries with aid programs that claim they are there just to help, to call them on their bluff.

Western media should try to interview the people the west worked with and seem to sound optimistic, to get a different perspective. Maybe these people see genuine chances to expect things to get better. Afghans all just seem tired of fighting and want to find a way to move forward.

Karzai, for one, sounds optimistic. Hopefully he’s right. He’s got three young daughters it would seem, so he has personal as well as professional motives to help reconcile the nation (and rebuild his image; nothing like your successors failure to make people forget your own failings).

CSPAN (a Online TV channel in the US) let’s any American call in to speak their views on the subject being discussed, and talk to prominent people one on one.

This is a video; actually on going, on how Americans have processed what they have seen through the media. If it’s archived; look up from the 7am EST feed of CSPAN; where the question is; was the war worth it?

on a different note. The Americans are pumping a lot of troops into Afghanistan for the 'rescue' mission. Anybody suspicious?

Perhaps forcing the Taliban to accept a permanent US base?
