What's new

Well played, but don't compare 'strikes and match'

You are basically confirming his point. Pakistani politicians are useless if this guy could rain missiles on Delhi without their approval.

This guy cannot rain missiles he is just spokesperson of armed forces of Pakistan

You are basically confirming his point.

I am basically explaining how any military works. If tomorrow, a country's army decided to bomb their neighbour, what could the politicians of said country do? Nothing, nothing at all. Pakistan is no exception to this.

No military does

Any military CAN. That is the point.

No, military persons will not have explicit access to missiles in other countries. Even if so, they are not authorised to make such a decision. If they still take such action, they'll be prosecuted and hanged as they have put humanity and their own countrymen in grave danger.

But in Pakistan, according to you, army can act as they wish and nothing happens. Sad state of democracy in Pakistan.

If you are not trolling and are serious. Then let me tell you, that the armed forces of Pakistan never take any military action, unless due approval is granted by the competent authority. Currently, that authority is the prime minister of Pakistan.

I was replying to a certain post, where Khurram implied what I said. Read that then decide.

Does yeti discovery carry a serious foreign policy implication, if yes, then they must have done so. Please for once use brains.
DG ISPR replying Amit Shah on twitter will have "serious foreign policy implications"

What implications? India lodging protest at the UN accusing DG ISPR of trolling?

Essentially, Pakistani army is controlling foreign portfolio when it comes to issues with India. Why is professional army calling out a simple off the cuff remark. Are you that insecure?

Have anyone ever seen indian army reacting to anything on twitter?
clarifying your misconception is his job! Making sure you stay surprised is his job :coffee:

So who fires the missiles? The civil servants?

Even if so, they are not authorised to make such a decision. If they still take such action, they'll be prosecuted and hanged as they have put humanity and their own countrymen in grave danger.

If they utilised their arms, that possibility would no longer be a possibility.

They are not allowed to have a presser unless they get permission from defence ministry. Have you not seen this presser in Feb.

Fine. Even then he shouldn't, given he is still in active duty but I concede Pakistani army men enjoy special rights in Pakistan.

No military does a special presser without explicit permission from elected government. I believe you got accustomed to Pakistani military taking everything into their hands as and when they like it that you started to believe thats how things are done.

Give me one instance where the army hosted a presser without permission from the current government? I think you are missing the point, personal capacity is not professional capacity.

Also, only you Indians believe Pakistan Army has control of things. EVERYTHING goes through the government first before any action is taken. Or do you mean that we attacked you on 27th Feb without consulting the government?

Used his personal account to tweet.

Few people might not agree with me but personally I don't think it's a good idea for a senior army officer to troll almost everyone like that in public.
