My grandmother was volunteered to be Jp army's comfort woman. Why you said she was forced? Why?

Heart broken time. New history textbook claims the Taiwan sexual slaves were forced, not volunteered

These kids are seriously sick, and conviniently the shame of human modern value.

How could this happen? They need decent history teachers and decent parents.

I gotta say the whole Taiwan society is sick. See the woman in the middle? Tsai Ling Wen, the candidate TW president election. Who is the sponsor of the protest.

Some say our mainlanders admire TW's democracy. That's crap. We believe TW democracy is a joke. And these politicians are nothing but clowns.

Taiwan need to correct this

...Shakaiteki ni mite kouhei de nai...... Let them find the issue at hand and then let them diceide on what is the best course. I think we should not say anything since we were considered the occupying power there. Let our Taiwanese brothers and sisters decide.

Domo arigadou gozaimasu....

Southern people are coward and girlish,That is the point.Just like Pakistani and Indian,no doubtly Pakistani is more mentally strong and more stuborn than indians. It's just human nature, nothing to be surprised.

Don't you think that southern people are more weak, mild and girlish than northern people?

Political correctness is only an issue if there is racism involve but I don't think so it is for this case. You know many Taiwanese volunteer into Imperial Army on their own will, not impression. Beside I think the Taiwanese were more integrated to Japan society than Koreans.

How are they sickening ? They are sample of segments in Taiwan that had family deeply integrated into Japanese society. You seem to lack command of the history of Taiwan in Imperial Era. You need to read more it seems. And you seem to be a foreigner apologist living in my country.

If you don't like it here then get out!

Ironically, these TW politicians' favorable slogan is"Love Taiwan". Wherever they go, they yell "love Taiwan". And the best weapon to attack their political opponents is criticizing them"impair Taiwan", "Taiwan's traitor".
None of them used "love Japan" as their political slogan. But at least we can see from this event that Tsai Ling Wen is a pure "Taiwan's traitor" .

They (the extreme minority political radicals) deny history at their own peril. At the age of 17 - 18, they are being badly used.

Their political romantic extremism will end up very badly for them when they embarked on real life. They better be hailing from rich families, because, at the end of the day, only the kids from rich families can bear the costs of their act of national disgrace.

In the face of historical nihilism, truth must be stressed even more strongly, using every available means possible.

China’s anti-Japanese aggression plays irreplaceable role in WWII

The Chinese people are preparing to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the end of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the WWII on September 3.

The Asian countries have been experiencing a relative peaceful 70 years after the end of WWII, and they are all speeding up on the development. But the scarred history should not be forgotten anytime, for it will remind people all the time to treasure peace, while deter war.

China, one of four key anti-fascist nations, was the main battlefield in Asia during WWII. But the position China stood and the role China played in the war fighting against the fascism had been lowered due to the impact from the Cold War that broke out in second fifty years of last century.

China's contribution to the world victory over the fascists has not received the enough respect the country deserves. This is not fair for the Chinese people.

In the following days, CCTVNEWS will present a four-episode series to give a look at the glorious contribution that China had made in WWII to fight against Japanese aggression and to provide great support for the world powers against Fascism in overseas battlefields.

EPISODE ONE: China, the first nation fires to Fascism
The WWII was spurred and launched by the Fascism states. The fascists had gained the power in Italy, Japan, and Nazi Germany in the first 30 years of 20th century. After the fascists controlled the governments in the countries, their evil ambitions spurred them to plan widening their powers to the neighboring nations and eventually the whole world.

On Sept. 18, 1931, Japanese troops blew up a section of the railway under their control near Shenyang, capital of northeast China's Liaoning Province, and then accused Chinese troops of sabotage as a pretext for attack. They bombarded barracks near Shenyang the same evening.

The incident was then called and remembered as the 9.18 Incident, or Mukden Incident. Meanwhile, the Chinese troops shoot and fired at the enemies first time in the fighting. The 9.18 Incident marked the start of Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, triggering the world to fight against the Fascism.

On July 7, 1937, a crucial access point to Beijing, Lugou Bridge, was attacked by Japanese troops. The attack, well-planned by Japanese troops, signaled the beginning of Japan's full-scale invasion of China, six years after China’s northeast invaded and occupied by Japan.

KMT-CPC COOPERATION CREATES NEW PAGE IN FIGHTING THE WAR

Under Japanese troops' scheme, they would attempt to subjugate China as soon as possible and end the war in a short time. But China broke its aggression plot and dragged the invaders into a protracted war.

Confronted with strong and evil enemies, Chinese people established a national united front of anti-Japanese aggression, which was based on the cooperation between China's Kuomintang (KMT) and Communist Party of China (CPC).

After then, KMT-led troops were defending against Japanese military at the frontal battlefield and CPC-led soldiers launched strikes at the enemies' rear areas. As the two most important Chinese anti-Fascism powers coordinated and cooperated, China had become the first war region in the world against the Fascists.

Though Japanese troops were equipped with advanced weapons, Chinese soldiers had been struggling to resist the offensive, experiencing a number of key battles and giving a huge strike on Japan.

According to Japan's data records, Chinese soldiers heroically faced up the fierce attack, besieged by Japanese troops, fighting in the financial hub of Shanghai in August 1937, which caused 40-thousand deaths of Chinese soldiers. In the battle in Tai'erzhuang, east China's Shandong Province in March 1938, China saw its first major victory over Japan since the war broke out, with over 11 thousand enemies killed.

In September 1937, Japanese troops mustered forces for an attack at Pingxingguan in Shangxi Province, a narrow pass guarded by Chinese troops. Familiar with the local mountains, CPC-led troops cut off the enemy's logistic line and killed more than 1,000 Japanese troops in an ambush.

The battle of Pingxingguan was the first victory that China triumphed since the full-large war started two months ago.

In November, after Taiyuan city was occupied by Japan, CPC-led troops started to establish military bases in the enemy's rear areas, launching a number of guerilla warfare.

In one year, the CPC established six areas of basement behind the main powers of Japan. With flexible strategy and tactics, those CPC's soldiers got used to fighting Japanese troops unexpectedly. The rear battlefields had given huge strike on Japan, and gradually eroded its military powers.

The cooperation of KMT-CPC had created a new page for China's national resistance against Japanese aggression, resulted in the fail of Japanese troops' plotting to end the war in short time. After the battle of Wuhan in June 1938, the war entered into the stage of strategic stalemate. (The story compiled with information from Guangming Daily; Edited by Wang Mingyan)

She is pro independence you know so she love Taiwan. We have thousand of thousands of Taiwanese in Japan that are pro independence. So you consider that too.
