You dont need to do that ..just tell the channels to follow whats done in USA
1- disclose their funding source
2- no govt ads

Only those channels will survive who bring content that people want to see rather then what aleem khan and generals want us to
In theory yes. But we did end up with totally biased Fox CNN MSNBC etc. This has become a global problem.

May be like we have for engineers & doctors there should be a qualifier exam for journalists and newscasters. I don't include lawyers because their course, bar and practice has become a joke.

All of these channel serve a specific population which in my opionion is okay

Yes USA has its issues but everyone KNOWS whats happening/or who is funding then

I agree that Pakistani politics needs to grow up, but I don't see it as a likely scenario.
Charter of democracy turned out to be a failure, as well as delivering nepotistic dynasties who'll happily limit democracy if the need arises, and in their opposition it delivered a guy who's the messiah, but he also doesn't give a crap about the political system or democracy either, and overseeing the circus is our dear establishment - great job as always boys.

You might disagree with my view here, but IMO if we had a working political system, with actual democracy, the filters applied in a working system would have removed the scum and dynasties by now. Or at least diminished them.

Adding to these is the problem that our courts are only 15 years old and not totally independent, our civilian leadership are weak and play second fiddle to benevolent generals, political engineering is done with good conscience but it does nothing to create a viable polity that will sort its own problems.

In the end, no man, messiah, general, judge or leader will solve Pakistan's problems or put the state in order. People have to acquire this ability through trial, error, experience and build a system that can represent their interests. The benevolent meddlers should read their own history and learn this, back off once and for all.

Pakistan's history is full of powerful men who have deprived the people their right to exercise their vote, or conduct politics independently. Each of them has said that Pakistanis are too stupid and too illiterate to pick their own representatives or make their own decisions, we're living in a similar state albeit these efforts have been made behind the scenes this time, the traditional allies of such people have lost their fondness for medalled men with stars and sunglasses.

People in pakistan dont even know what democracy means

It doesnt mean to allow certified thugs to rule the country

If you still want thugs to rule you..you need to tell your court to clear them so atleast we can keep the pretend play..becausw as of now we cant even do that!

This grand dialog sounds alot like grand NRO.

Let’s work together, do the merry go round, wash away each other’s cases and work for the betterment of Pakistan. 🤣

.
After handing over even civil induction/transfers/promotions to East India Company, is there anything left to do dialogue? I think it's time that Public should do grand dialogue with Bajwa.

A very very apt description of the fallacy of this proposal

Agr 100 nalayeqon ko bhi parcha hal karnay kay liay betha dain tab bhi un say parcha nhn hona.
