It was never an issue, it was just grandstanding by erdogan as a form of election campaigning.Interesting that nobody opposed it.
If it were up to only Erdoğan, he would probably have approved it on the first day. But there was too much public pressure and they could not risk their base, which was increasingly aligned with nationalist tendencies recently. Sweden-Finland made its application 2 years ago and at that time our agenda was not elections but the fight against the PKK in Syria. It was never an issue, it was just grandstanding by erdogan as a form of election campaigning.
Everyone supports Finland and Sweden application, as Turkey and Russia have never truly gotten along with each other.
Final touch.
Erdogan has signed ratification of Finland's Nato membership
The final formalities include an invitation to join from Nato's Secretary General, which is to be signed in Washington, most likely by Foreign Minister Pekka Haavisto (Green).yle.fi
Hopefully Sweden gets in sooner than later.

The issues with Finland were already minor, the real problem was the PKK-Fetö related activities inside Sweden. If you go through the parliamentary minutes, you will find criticism, including from opposition MPs, that Sweden was late or hesitant to take steps. But if you say who cares about Turkish realpolitik, you can make trite comments like this.
Putin is definitely not happy about Finland joining in fact nobody is in the Kremlin.
I think there response will be stationing tactical nukes on the border region and deploying nuclear forces
