Looking at India and Bangladesh are ahead of Pakistan (in negative terms) is surprising after I have been reading all the bragging posts from respective members here at PDF.

Our people love to complain. Our situation is not great, some people live in terrible conditions and we must strive to improve that, but the vast majority of complaining is done by those with money for internet and time for twitter.

I watch a youtube channel called Bald and Bankrupt. The guy visits Russia and eastern europe. You should see how some people live there, terrible poverty, middle class in Pakistan live better, even some working class.

What we need to focus on is doing what China did, improve the lifestyle of all our people. Capitalism alone isn't the only way. Those people in the videos i watch, often talk about how life was better under the USSR. I'm not saying we go communist, but we need to focus on wealth distribution. Trickle down doesn't work.

I give you one example of one village that I know, my ancestral village, where there are very rich, middle and poor. There is no extreme poverty because poor get Zakat which is distributed among the poor family members. Even families with no source of real income are not in extreme poverty....this is the blessing of Islam and nothing to do with our govt.

Pak Gdp $236B.... Bangladesh GDP $315B....... Bangladesh Gdp on pace to be bigger than Paks by $100B+ in 2020/21....... Indias Gdp is more than x12 BIGGER than Paks..... 2020 it will be x13 bigger.... and maybe 14 Times in 2021. Bangladesh and India have a way better literacy rate than Pakistan as well....

Pakistan's GDP was 315 billion in 2018 and it has reduced to 283 billion in 2019 on account of devaluation. Furthermore this is nominal GDP and the real value lies in PPP in which we are mcuh better.

You really don't know what the GDP is. Our real GDP will be around 340 billion by 2020, it reduced in value because of the currency and thus people quote it as 270 billion. The people didn't get any poorer because of the GDP devaluation. And referring to poverty, did you even watch the video posted in the thread? Pakistan is much better than Bangladesh in terms of wealth distribution.
