Watch how current Federal government fooling on Karachi-Hyderabad motorway

.

So I've been on here for years. Since the current government took the office.....I've heard:
1) Watch these people bankrupt the system. Well, you have highest foreign cash reserves compared to your entire history. A better credit system and over a 100 billion dollars worth of investment committed and its starting to come in !!!

2) The Metro Bus project was a scam: Well, every other province has either jumped on the band wagon or is asking for help in creating that SAME footprint.

3) Education - Laptop distribution was a scam: Today, the Punjab government, is getting ready to deploy TABLETS in all schools. Bringing the educational system of Punjab to the level of the US, Japan, Germany, etc. This initiative has helped create thousands of IT jobs in Pakistan to constantly create and upgrade educational and text books into Graphical Designs and Tablet / Mobile form. Which would help Pakistan sell this capability across the globe and make billions in foreign exchange like India's IT services, in the long run.

3) We were told on here that the Chinese trade route was ghost project and nothing would happen. Well, there are thread on here showing serious progress being made around the Pakistani infrastructure. Can't ignore that.

4) We were told the government is taking debt and loans, which are going to their bank accounts. Not ONE case has surfaces in years. In fact, the Debt is being used to Finance projects across the entire Pakistan.

5) We were told that the power outages will never end. The IMF and the Asian banks numbers show that in the next three years, Pakistan would be producing 60% more electricity (created in the 5 year term of the current government), compared to the past 70 years of its existence!!!!

6) Pakistan's economy is moving further ahead, businesses are gaining confidence and the money sent out, has started to come in. Even with the dire economic and law and order / terrorism situation, Pakistan's economy grew between 3-4% last year when the year before and two years before, the country was near bankruptcy.

So why start these silly threads based on lie and propaganda when the reality is crystal clear to everyone around the entire globe? Let the people work who have been. Lazy, retards are sitting out, not waiting like good sportsmen, for their turn, but bashing without a reason or gain, and actually hurting the country's growth in some ways!!!

Viper come to the point and stop fluffing. The cost of the project is too high and secondly it was started by PPP. Your rhetorics have no basis. Go sell them to some duff.

1- Metro bus system of Lahore is a big scam as every year 2 billion rupees has to be paid from the provincial exchequer to keep it running.

2- Laptop scheme is nothing but just another commission earning eyewash.

3- Youth loan scheme has flopped badly.

4- Yellow taxi scheme has flopped badly, where are they ?

5- Sasti roti scheme has evaporated in thin air.

6- Pak-China economic corridor was initiated by PPP government. Nawaz league mad a controversy out of it and tried to change the already arranged route. Shame on them as even he Chines government has refused to oblige to the alternative route proposed by this flop Nawaz government.

7- Loadshedding has gone from bad to worse during the current government. Gaddani closed. Nandipur scam etc.

8- Economy is going downhill very steeply. The amount of loans taken by this government has broken all previous records period.

Do you have proofs for all the 6 accusations above??? Common man, enlighten me. Your Zardari was the most corrupted leader. There are witnesses and accounts all the way to Switzerland and the UK for him. Can you show similar "REAL" proofs on the 6 items defined above?

Everything is on record.

And if Zardari was corrupt then why doesn't the current government get him and put him in jail ?

.
The biggest fooling around of federal govt. was to give clean chit to Asif ali Zardari and Yosef reza gilani... from corruption cases.

That was actually given by the constitution and majority of the countries have it, same thing with Musharraff, he did corruption but gotten away with it. The Presidents have legal protection guaranteed by the constitution. Don't blame the current government for it.

If people start to believe your crap, then it would seem like the current government caused the Earth Quake in Pakistan too. Many people have diarrhea every month because of the current government. The Clouds don't go and the Sun doesn't come out because of the current government!! This is the crap we read on here from people, low quality BS, never thankful for anything.

Rs2b subsidy on metro bus as CM refuses fare hike

THE Punjab government has allocated Rs 2 billion hefty amount for Metro Bus subsidy while Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has refused to increase its fare.

The provincial government has allocated Rs one billion for transport sector subsidy during the ongoing fiscal year which was reduced to 248.2 million in the revised estimates. Out of Rs 248.2 million, almost Rs 100 million was given to Metro Bus as subsidy.

This year the provincial government has increased the subsidy for the transport sector to Rs 3 billion registering more 270 percent increase from the last year. According to the officials, if compared to the past year, the government has increased Rs 2 billion subsidy on the transport sector. Only Metro Bus System (MBS) is a mega transport sector project which is executed during ongoing fiscal year. It means the government has allocated Rs 2 billion subsidy for MBS alone while rest of the transport sector will get Rs one billion subsidy. On the other hand, during the ongoing fiscal year, out of Rs 248.2 million revised estimated subsidy of transport sector, almost Rs 100 million was disbursed through MBS which shows that the MBS will again get major chunk of the subsidy.

PM’s youth loan scheme hits snags

ISLAMABAD: The Prime Minister’s youth loan scheme has virtually been dumped by the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) authorities as the bank has failed to disburse the loan amount to the successful applicants despite passage of more than a month while the second balloting has also been postponed.

A well-placed source in the NBP told The News that the bank authorities still are reluctant to continue with this scheme as this would bring financial disaster to the bank if it continues. When contacted Bank’s spokesman Syed Ibn-e-Hasan refused to comment on the issue saying, “I have not received any information from the relevant authorities therefore I cannot not comment on the issue.”

Speaking about the future of this scheme the source informed that the seriousness of the bank authorities could only be checked that the bank’s credit committee approved the scheme almost after two months of the starting of this scheme.

“Meaning by that the previous management of the bank was not ready to approve the scheme and everyone was reluctant because of the nature of the programme. The members of the credit committee had earlier given no approval to this scheme; however, now it has been asked to approve the programme,” the source informed.

The bank was sent a query last week however despite passage of almost a week no response came from the bank officials. The scheme was launched in December 2013 but the bank’s credit committee approved the scheme in February 2014 and this has been confirmed by the bank’s management in response to a query sent to it earlier in the month of March 2014.

The source further informed that the loan disbursement among the successful candidates could further take another month or so. Not only this, but the bank management has also reduced the amount ten times than they actually sought for starting their business. A person who sought Rs2 million’s loan has been approved only Rs0.25 million, the source said.

The second balloting was scheduled on first week of April 2014 however it has been postponed as the process of disbursing loan among successful candidates of first balloting has not been finalised and not a single applicant has received loan amount.

For the second balloting the bank has processed only 2800 applications uptil now however the 80 member staff which was working on the processing of the scheme has been sent back to their branches, informed the source.

The bank authorities are also not sure about making the loan scheme under Islamic banking system as no one either from the government side or from the bank has not announced about the issue. The bank authorities claimed that they have received no instructions from the government whether to disburse the loan through Islamic banking system or through normal banking system.

The data center set up particularly for this program on Bank’s branch situated on Tariq Road Karachi has been winded up while the bank is no more processing further applications for this loan scheme, informed the source.

It is pertinent to mention here that more than 400 bank staffers were working on this program throughout the country while 80 staffers were deployed in the data center specially established for Prime Minister’s Youth Loan Scheme on Tariq Road Karachi which has been closed.

The official further informed that besides the Prime Minister’s Youth Loan Scheme, the bank is also involved in its own indigenous loaning scheme and the advance salaries loan scheme is the top most and successful scheme. However due to the PM youth loan scheme all other programs of the bank are being badly affected resulting in the poor performance of the bank.

The official informed that just to make this programme successful the bank’s future has been put on stake as the bank is getting only 16 per cent markup i.e. 8 per cent from the loan seeker and 8 per cent from the government. On the other hand, the bank is already getting 19 per cent mark up from its all loan schemes including the top most and advance salary programme.

Getting personal for whom's ever encouragement...!!!! well lets address it.

You blaming Musharraf for corruption.... is not a crap of low quality!!!!!!!!
While Mr.10% is a saint.... can be classified as BS of high quality!!!
Be mindful of the fact, that cases on Asif Ali Zardari, were brought up by Nawaz Sharif... and if they are closed by him following democratic pact, London. Than there has to be explanation for this circus, causing billions to national exchequer.

@Qalandari why does the bosses of PPP failed to file a single case of corruption against Nawaz Sharif? or impeachment in regard to his gross mismanagement?
After all Sheik Rashid have brought it all out for you in a plate!!!
Same question for the PTI leadership and followers! :azn:

So you mean to say that Punjab government has no writ of its own and cannot handle the private transport mafia and keep the fares in check ? A BIG FLOP !

There is no getting personal. Let's establish the facts:
1) NS in his first time around early 90's was involved with corruption. Everyone knows it.
2) Zadari family has ALWAYS been involved with corruption. And he'll never change as his background starts with corruption. Its funny when the Indians say "a tea boy became the PM of India", well.....years before that, a guy who used to sell Cinema tickets and drugs, became the President of Pakistan (Zardari)
3) Mushy was involved with corruption. You should go see his son's homes and their worth in the US, not to mention the farms and the homes he owns.
4) NS's second term, none of these guys have done corruption. Its why IK and others are super concerned because they see these guys making serious progress and winning the next government also. These guys are behind a legacy and they'll probably create one a they are hell bent in finishing up the electrical outage issue and bring in the investment to turn Pakistan into a modern country. In the 70 years of this country's history, the foreign investors have a confidence about Pakistan that has never been seen before. That's a fact. I watch the market and strategic investments and all. Trust me, I know what I am talking about.

Zardari wasn't "forgiven" by NS. As a President, per your constitution, you are to some degree above the law or have the Presidential Privileges to not be indited. Its your constitution and majority of the world's. You can impeach him but he ain't going to jail for anything. Sad but true. Before you shift blame to others, people who elected a corrupt person like this, should be questioned and educated properly about their voting rights.

.
Do you have proofs for all the 6 accusations above??? Common man, enlighten me. Your Zardari was the most corrupted leader. There are witnesses and accounts all the way to Switzerland and the UK for him. Can you show similar "REAL" proofs on the 6 items defined above?

-Metro bus is not feasible at the current pricing. So it gets funding from gov.

-the laptop scheme was kind of pointless. If you want better education, bring reform, not free laptops. And reform they didn't bring.

-50,000 taxis at a cost of $250 million were ordered from pak-suzuki. For comparison, pakistan sells in total about 150,000 cars in total every year. Do you really think Pakistan can use 50,000 taxis ? These taxis will go to party supporters/workers. An exact same scheme was introduced in the 90s as well by guess who? :enjoy: So that's just history repeating itself. These are their ways of paying their party bills using tax payer money.

Similarly look at PIA (airline) and Pakistan Steel Mills. Over hiring done to the neck and then continuously getting bailed out by government every year. The people over hired into these institutions are party workers getting rewarded on tax payer's expense. This is not even something new, all parties have done this, this one is no exception.

.
Everything is on record.
And if Zardari was corrupt then why doesn't the current government get him and put him in jail ?

Where are these records at? Care to take these to the Supreme Court so you can get these people to jail? OR.....the proofs are a bunch of papers scanned and altered by yellow and ugly corrupted journalists like Lick-Man on ARY, who, outside of everyone's interest, is hoping for a "Minister of Information" seat from IK in return of his loyalty and lying to the entire country on TV???
I met Lick-Man long time ago in Islamabad. This guy didn't know how to wear a suite properly, let alone talk. He came in with a senior journalist from the Geo group and back then, he used to lick their boots so he could meet the "foreigners" and gain some influence in his little standing. Back then, he was threatening and blackmailing industrialists and all. And you have proofs like the proofs he presents!!! No wonder, your society is as corrupt as it can be. But the blame is pointed to the person of choice!
