If UP and Bihar pulled up their socks the nationwide poverty figures would fall through the floor. These are the two states who are holding India back and dragging it down, ideally they would be broken up into 4-5 smaller states. Their current population size and abysmal governance record means there doesn't seem to be a lot of hope for the immediate future. It is going to take decades for these states to get to where other states in India were even a decade ago.
Breaking cannot do something to change the mentality of people..
You want that change for India? Then help to change the mentality of UPites and Bihari and Jharkhand's people
may be because of population growth? higher population growth combined with lack of education and useful work skills also make it difficult to reduce poverty. It is difficult to employ people who doesn't posses useful skill in anything. China and Vietnam being a communist countries doesn`t have these problems.
China and Vietnam used iron fist to control population, inflation and unemployment etc while we let our population go haywire.. especially north and south Indians.
