I know a Muslim man here in the states who made 3 Christians girls convert to Islam promising marriage to all 3. He didn't think they would do and when they did he ran like hell. The funny thing is these girls are really devout Muslims now more so than him.

Facepalm. These marriages are anything but what you just romantically described. It's not a frickin marriage out of love where the couples respect each other's faith and the kids will be brought upon the principles you mentioned. It's a sham marriage wherein youth lure in girls, pretend to love them and then abandon them unless those girls convert. And those are the guys with hardcore jehadi mentality. Not the Gita touching variety.

Loose character girls or girls with weak family values or unhealthy upbringings if become victims will never stand against forced or lured marraiges.Its 2012 girls are not living in 7th century male dominated tribes. If they dont protest such girls are useless stuff & can go to hell or where-ever they want who cares.

For self respecting girls who becomes victim & want to fight for their honour we have laws for their protections.

If marraiges are forced or carried by luring girls, muslims should be ashamed of it.Its a sin in islam to act like it...I wont take example of few culprits to bash entire religion or entire muslim community of India.

Looking at positive side, if marraiges are result of mutual love & respect then Intercaste Interreligion marraiges are the best means of eradicating caste-religion as stated by Dr.B .R. Ambedkar.

They are not girls with loose character. First it starts as genuine love, or atleast that is what the girls think, but only after some time do they understand this is a trap.

Yap one of my ex gf later married a pk muslim guy who infact married to get the residency. After getting residency he left her with a child. But she did not leave Islam rather told me that whatever he did but gave her the blessing of Islam. She spent 2 years, most of her time in Mosque and now married to an Egyptian guy and left for Egypt for good.
