50 billion investment is good news for Israel not for Palestine . Because Isreali banks and govt handle all Paletinian financial transactions. Plus, Isreali govt reduce the water supply for West Bank and reduce the land designated for industry and farming .
Paletinian should demand for equal rights within Israel. Right to vote and rights any other Israeli citizen.

Lets clear out a few things here :

First there are Arabs who are Israeli citizens , about 2- millions of them who get to vote and have their own parties in the parliament. Which is more than can be said for most Arabs in the middle east ...

True it is not like they don't have issues , but that can be said about any minority in any country. And mostly their economic , health care etc situation is better than most of the Arabs in the middle east , excluding maybe the rich oil monarchies ,

Those who need to get to vote are the Palestinians under Fatah and Hamas that the last time they voted was 13 years ago - but ever since the rift between Hamas and Fatah there where not able the run an election and even more important : they do not have a unified leadership that is authorized to close a deal in the name of all Palestinians.


As for the the economic plan suggested :

It is true that a plan to solve the conflict must also include an economic aspect , specially with regard to Gaza , because the situation there is far from good.

But this must rest on a a foundation of a solid peace plan.

I think that if any such plan was signed than naturally investments would pore into this area. No one likes to invest in a war zone.

To sum up : most in Israel and the media that reported it where not impressed with this plan either. But unlike some members here i would not spend my time to through mud at it. No one owes us time to spend to come up with a solution or forced to offer money,
