Vietnam Conducts Air-Ground Military Exercises

It also states that there are around 350 T-59s at that time. In 4-5 years we of course cannot replace all of them. Dismissing those tanks will leave a huge gap in our armored force. Not to mentions smaller troops transports and combat vehicles, many of which are from China. A large part of our AKs, SKSs and machine guns (still in used) are also from China (during VN war), with clear characters and marks written in Chinese. There is no shame in denying that, cause after all VN and China used to have warmer relationship.

I can tell you more about that : K50, CKCs, M16 etc... is still in use somewhere in Vietnam.

you go too far from my debate with chinese member, my question is very simply : Why Thailand royal army has dropped chinese tanks in to sea ?,

It does not related to Sino - Vietnam communism friendship in cold war, and I'm nationalist, not communist. I don't care about your communist sentimens here, bro.

Pls to read comment of Black Flag, he said that he is chinese, not Vietnamese,
I quoted here for you:

"The M60, M48 and Stingray light tanks are still used by the Thai army.
The Stingray was acquired around the same time as the Type-69, around 1988.
Their M60 and M48 is even more old. M60 production run was between year 1960-1987."
The M48 production run was between year 1952 to 1959. :o:
Yes, they're over half a century old."

Dude, my bad, maybe I have gone off track. But there is no need to look down on Chinese tanks or any other Chinese equipments. Thailand has their own reasons to dump all the tanks to the sea, bad quality may be the major reasons. But that does not make China only capable of making low quality products. I am not defending China here. I just want to look directly to the problem. China has a capable industry to support their own war machine, no matter how imperfect or unprofessional it is. Counting on enemy mistakes to win the war is a big NO NO.

BTW my statement was not about communism or nationalism. I just pointed out that VNese and Chinese used to call each other brothers and sisters, instead mocking and smearing each other right now.

. .
most of chinese tanks were lured into prepared traps and ambushed, or we blown up the streets and brigdes when the tanks crossed them. it was not much nice for the young soldiers to die in a burned tank.
Old pic, i mean is there any today pic of captured China tank in some Vietnam military museum ?

U can insisit of Thousands time "China Invasion" in home, but in real world Chinese have been there and no any conflict. Thailand welcome VN more than China by VN media, just kidding urself !

Can u tell me, who is Vietnam's friend ? :pop:

This is peace time, so Laos allow ur forces to patrol to catch drug dealers, but in war time is different. Laos supported VN against China in 1979, Mekong river was closed , China forces could not pass.

any way, compare VN infantry to China infantry is just like compare the Tiger (VN) wt the pussy cat (VN). In 1979, 600,000 well trained China troops were pushed back shamefully just by VN border guards and women militia forces. Mr Deng also admit that of sapers r too good that China sapers can do the same.:pop:
Vietnamese agents dare attack the army: senior military infuriated!

April 1984, the border of Yunnan army recaptured the old Hill, who rode Thread Yin and other positions, start into the defense.

The local terrain, high and low drop large, so the Vietnamese troops to use firearms is the most important mortar. Vietnamese troops often use the terrain to create false targets, false launch point, induce a waste of our army shells. So our military reported the destruction of the mortar has more than the number of enemy equipment, but the enemy continued to fire the army.

Our military personnel are often sent to bring artillery reconnaissance and observation equipment into an enemy communications behind the right direction for my cannon group goals, and achieved some results, but the artillery reconnaissance personnel at great risk. After our troops from the United Kingdom [Germany]imports a "Xin Bolin" emplacement detection radar (current price for ten million dollars) to deploy to the front.

"Xin Bolin" (Cymbeline) since the 20th century, mid 70s in the UK and German armies, the detection of 81 mm mortar range of up to 10 kilometers, on a detection range of 120-mm mortar up to 14 km . By detecting enemy mortar and to calculate the trajectory, we can accurately determine the location of the enemy mortar position to lead our army artillery to counter and hit the Vietnamese troops was very embarrassed.
.............

Evening of 4 July 1984 23 am, the Vietnamese troops of 406 battalion 821 Secret Mission 7 with a row of elevation points from the 1134 side saddle sneaked into my territory and then, point by point to observation point by point the way forward on the road before dawn on the 5th to the scheduled meeting place - a cave hidden white pyroxenite. 5, hostile white Shiyan, various positions in a close observation of the arrival day and night. At 0:30 on the 6th or so, in addition to a group of white remain as alert and take place inside the cave, Shiyan task, I compiled four group secret enemy approach the target area, were a group of 160 mortar attack on army positions and 41 Teachers 122 Group 9 with three rows. The other two groups from the left-right attack on Kunming Military Region I (now incorporated into the Chengdu Military Region) artillery battalion reconnaissance apparatus, "Xin Bolin" radar position. 2:30, the enemy opened fire at the same time, 2:40 end of the operation, killed 10 people and injured 49 people, the enemy got killed 1 person and injured 10 people.
..............
The enemy sabotage actions in terms of combat readiness, tactical means or the use of weapons of view, can be termed a classic special operations, sabotage enemy when using only grenades, directional mines, rockets and plastic explosives man and other explosive weapons not only my staff and technical equipment to cause greater damage, but also covert attempts to combat, army personnel positions until the 6th day of the explosion I still thought just it's enemy shelling to our radar
.........
The fighting, the military high evaded. Deng position: their agents can come in, why can not our scouts in the past? Thus, there is a more than five years on a secret reconnaissance round of fighting.

Our sapper also sabotaged Utapao air base in Thailand lots of time and only well trained US guard dogs could detect our men, Thai army could not do anything .

Dont show some cheap hand in hand pics, none of Thai gens state that they support China against VN coz China army will betray its friend like betray Pol Pot and PLA also too corrupted to fight in a real war. Thai gen like Major General Surasit Thanadtang know clearly that support VN against China is a better choice:pop:

you are too naive bro,

when you have money do you buy motorbike Honda made in Vietnam or Chinese motor bike ? I will change my car from Korean Hundai I 30 to Toyota Yaris before new year, even though Chinese car in Vietnam is very cheap, do you understand why ? This is my business. I dont buy it for hilarious friendship with Korean or Japanese people.

when china backed Khmer Rouge to attack us after 1975 and invaded in to our soil 1979, they don't think that we are brother or sister of them. How many innocent people were killed ?

I will ignore you, pls don't quote my post again.

U r always the good troller who living far aways from the real world, and only u trust these bullsh!t on the mouth.

Even u deny it's 1979 China firstly announced withdrawing troops after PLA took Lang Son city and Lao Cai city, how far from Hanoi capital ? Not defeated by VPA and we should stay more months in VN. No matter what u said PLA had arrived these Vietnam cities, hope to learn some lessons.

After Vietnam to hold some joint military exercise with Thailand or Cambodia, then tell bosh to me.

No, as far as i knew during last Sino-Vietnam War our PLA took most ruined Chinese tanks back, coz the whole battlefield of North Vietnam & some Vietnamese cities still controlled by PLA Army before 1979.3 Chinese withdraw, only Vietnamese guerrillas took photographics with them. It's why Vietnam side only show old pics but lack real Chinese tank trophy in ur military museum.

Vietnam government lack the truth in military museum.

A black flag has a lot of meaning my friend. Every country has black flags to represent something, not just China. For example, the middle east might use a black flag to represent jihad or something, but I'm not that type.

戦闘ジャケットis the type of traditional armour that my race use in wars.

ドラゴンボール is just a Japanese children TV cartoon and comics based on the story of my people. Just like 西遊記/Tây Du Ký is just a Chinese novel based on Buddhism.

So I am not Han or Chinese my friend. I hope now you know more something about me.

But yes, we are :offtopic:
