"It's a life-and-death struggle," "There's blood and tears"… This documentary chronicles personal accounts of survivors and witnesses, and reveals the physical and psychological toll of terrorism over the past decades in Xinjiang. It shines a light on how people in the region have been facing up to life in the aftermath. This video contains footage released for the first time. Viewer discretion is advised. #Tianshan #Xinjiang

In fact, most of the police and government personnel in Xinjiang are locals, and I was surprised that terrorists attacked mosques and killed religious personnel.

It has been much better in the last five or six years. Xinjiang is an important tourist area, agricultural products are also developed, in fact, after the terrorist attacks in Urumqi, people from other parts of China also launched a campaign called Xinjiang tourism. Group to Xinjiang self-driving tour, online mall above will also pick Xinjiang jujube, raisins, nuts and other specialties to buy. The more difficult Xinjiang is, the more we should support the lives of ordinary people in Xinjiang, the more we should travel, and the more special products we should buy online from Xinjiang.

Before the re-education camps were set up, Xinjiang averaged one attack per week. It was in danger of turning into Chechnya. There hasn't been a single attack in the past 3 years thanks to the de-radicalization policy.

China may need to restore the 36th division.
In the past, they succeeded in crushing terrorists and rebels

Revisiting the woman who lost her leg in Xinjiang terrorist bombing
Dilqemer Tursun was 21 years old when she lost her leg during a terrorist bombing in 2014 at a shopping mall in Xinjiang's Luntai County. In an interview with CGTN, she gave a firsthand account of the attack and shared her experience of overcoming the tragedy, even finding meaning from the suffering. #
She plans to get a driver's license and buy a car, a really brave girl who lost both of her legs to terrorist attacks, but I wonder if it's legal for a disabled person like her to drive?

.
Why do China supports Masood Azhar then? Hypocrisy much?

She can only drive special car modify for her case.

At 1:20 of this video, 6 years passed, why that terrorist is still alive being interviewed?? She should be executed for committing such a crime, being lenient to terrorists is being cruel to ourselves.

Happy to see this girl's life was not totally destroyed by this tragedy.

You may have read too much English news, and this person has nothing to do with China. If you can speak Chinese, China does not interfere in what happens in other countries that have nothing to do with China.
Like the Maoists in India. It has nothing to do with China, if you look for it, there must be a lot of English news saying that China supports it. China doesn't care about this kind of thing at all, the US sanctioned Modi before Modi became Prime Minister, China doesn't care about this.

Xinjiang has registered double digit economic growth for years, tourism is booming. Children enjoy 15 years compulsory free education from kingdergarten to high school with free school meals, accommodation and healthcare. Locals enjoy government subsidies, free healthcare, free annual physical checkup, poor families were given free government houses to live with free furnitures and appliances.

Xinjiang's infrastures are becoming superb, highways, highspeed railways, subways, public facilities like hospitals, schools, airports, stadiums, libraries, theaters, parks, shopping malls are the top class in the world, second to none on this planet.

Almost all Xinjiang families now own private cars , these great achievements were beyond everyone's wildest dreams barely 5 years ago, without Xinjiang's right policies, these accomplishments can never come true.

We can see from those old footages that most law enforcement officers and those who died fighting terrorists in Xinjiang are local Uighurs themselves, most victims who lost their lives or limbs are also local Uighurs, terrorism is an enemy of the whole humanity, regardless of nationalities or races,

.
There is one hard fact that the western media is always conveniently igonring, as the old footages in the OP video show, most law enforcement officers , soldiers and those who sacrificed their lives for China in Xinjiang are local Uighurs themselves, they are heavily armed with SWAT riffles, submachine guns, grenades... but why throughout the years not a single Uighur officer or soldier turned their guns against the government?

It's quite opposite to the claims that made by the western media that most Uighurs are against the government, this simple fact only shows that the overriding majority of the Uighur population support the government, only a very small tiny group of extremists and seperatists are against the government.
