People here can disagree with me and call me a Shia liar for all i care but it makes no difference.

in early 2015 during the Tikrit OP the world was shouting how the PMU would commit mass genocide against the locals to take revenge for the Tikrit massacre, but nothing happened. During the Fallujah OP which was mostly led by the army the world was shouting how there would be massacres, in the end there was nothing but some reports which remain unproven. Mosul, same story again yet nothing but very clean results. The US wouldn't accept lending support to the army if they were doing what some are claiming, with their intel assets there they know more than any news org.

I agree. The current Iraqi army is not the same one that existed 10 years ago at the height of the sectarian infighting. There are still problems with certain Shia militias and their actions, loyalties and leaders but the Iraqi army proper and ISOF (in particular) have done well. I have been positively surprised. The competence level or what you want to call it has also increased tenfold.

As for that video, I know which one. That raid during the night if I recall. They (ISIS and AQ) have done similar in Yemen (AQAP and the ISIS branch there) as well as in Syria. However whether that tank video for instance was indeed ISIS we cannot know for certain but it seems that it was if you add everything together.

Anyway, I will elaborate even further than I did in post 8. Sunni Arabs crying about such instances make it appear like some of them support ISIS in the eyes of foreigners even if they do not do that and if their complains are only aimed at certain Shia militias and by default Iran (Mullahs there). It is counterproductive. Let alone the clowns that support ISIS. If there is one group that has killed more Sunni Arabs (Al-Assad excluded) recently it is ISIS. That group has also helped in the demonization of ordinary Sunnis and also Arabs of the region. So when people (Arabs in particular) support ISIS (which thankfully overall only a tiny, tiny minority do nowadays - seems that most have waken up) they are shooting themselves not only in the leg but directly in the head.

Of course they won't understand any of this as they are already brainwashed.

We can also ask such questions to locals in Iraq and Syria who supported ISIS. What did that give them other than misery? Now they most likely will have worse lives at least in Syria.

So many idiotic decisions by locals in the region.

I am brutally honest now and I know that it is easier said than done.
