Indians hate Pakistanis.

Bangladeshi hates both India and Pakistan.
Finally Chinese-> No idea whom they hate but they don't abuse much and good posts .

Btw all you guys who fight here should come and visit Singapore where you can see Indians, Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Chinese working together, eating together and drinking together .

I know you guys are very patriotic about you're country but abusive words, hurting religious sentiments, calling for people death and asking for genocide are creepy.

Sri Lankans do not hate Tamils, what we hate is Tami extremists and Tamil tiger terrorist supporters. If you come to Sri Lanka you'll observe Sinhalese, Tamils, Moors all sharing and eating what so ever thing. I have Tamil neighbors who share their new year celebrations with us, we do the same for Sinhala new year. Many Sinhalese visit Hindu kovils even they aren't hindus and Tamils are participating in some of our major Buddhist festivals.

Ground level reality is different, it is difficult to judge societies by comments on this forum. haha

This is US vs China thing. US is trying to block China's presence in Indian Ocean, if Chinese do that it will cover the huge region under Chinese control. At the moment GoSL gets main support from China for developments in SL. So Sri Lanka does not like to give up the advantages they get from China. India wants to influence Sri Lanka but they don't have financial power to invest in SL over China.

India also a part in this game, India also want to keep China away from the region but India cannot do that, that's why they team up with US. Secondly US wants to make conflict between India and China, it will secure super power status some more period.

I don't think China needs to have military base in SL to keep the power in the region. They already have economic power in main two ports in Sri Lanka, one port is leading port in south asia and it's among the best ports in Asia.

Also heard Chinese submarines spotted 22 times in the southern international waters, so they already roaming around.
