It all lies in weight and size, not in range.Current Brahmos can't be fitted in torpedo tubes. Brahmos is very bulky.
Brahmos M is suppose to be smaller like harpoon.It is hard to believe DRDO claims until it delivers.

Russia understands this is business, we pay them $$$ too for their stuff, they are our biggest suppliers and give SU 30 MKI, T 90S/M, INS VIKRAMADITYA, Nuke subs ETC.We deal in respect with respect and give each other respect.

Harpoon is useless. It is being bought to keep the U 204 class relevant. USA is already replacing harpoon with LRASM which is a 1000km Mach 0.9+ 450kg warhead based missile.

Why don't you test it? Next time you go Kayaking, cross the Atlantic, across the horn of Africa and approach a PN craft in the Indian ocean, ask them if their Harpoons still work and if you really wan't ask them to prove it.
